750 euro is RM3.1k

samsung is pricing the phone as a luxury niche item. not worth to buy when galaxy s2 is selling under RM2k now. and here i was hoping it'll be priced like the dell streak 5.

Pricing strategy as demand expect lower than smartphone. It will be initially only target to a small niche market
when tab 7 inch launch also very expensive. When demand was more than expected price drop as such production costs reduces accordingly with more units. Expect to see similar scenario. If launch price at this number expect to see rm2k only in a year later.

with that price... not worth anymore... as we can see...smartphone evolve quite fast...and price should not be too much different although its an innovative one...eventually this model will also faced out soon..

Yup, it's not worth to spend RM 3k for this especially samsung. They keep on announcing new phone almost every half year.

you should NOT convert them directly into RM, because different region different pricing.

for example, SGS2's launch price is 650 euro for 16GB and 730, and iPhone 4's launch price is 700 euro, but in Msia both cost around 2k.
