QUOTE(Eithanius @ Sep 3 2013, 07:11 PM) First ImpressionNo need to compare to Silverstone M5, the tyre totally out Compare with Continental CC5 (195/55/R15) Comfort - CC5 Noise - CC5 Grippyness - NT8000 Price - NT8000 Similar to CC5, you felt much grippy immediately after change to NT8000 (cause slightly less pick up Previously M5 185/55/R15> CC5 195/55/R15 - you feel immediate difference, slower pick up Now CC5 195/55/R15> NT8000 195/55/R15 - feel slightly slower pickup, not by much NT8000 still very comfort, noise is slightly louder but still silent (cause CC5 is one hell quiet tyre) As now, for the price, it is so much worth it. RM180 x 4 = RM720 only RM180/donut with balancing. Get from this guy, very reasonable price & alignment extra RM20 oni. https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/947105 |

Last time when I drove a 2-litre toyota engine, there was a big difference on pickup and performance between RON95 and RON97. But on the Alza engine, the difference is practically negligible... QUOTE(Eithanius @ Sep 6 2013, 04:22 PM) define suitable... It's something like that.. Ron 92 is more suitable for European NA cars like BMW where their NA cars are map u can even pump Ron 90.. Last time when I drove a 2-litre toyota engine, there was a big difference on pickup and performance between RON95 and RON97. But on the Alza engine, the difference is practically negligible... Might see a difference if switch to RON92... If our cars can survive that... with Ron 95, u can feel engine jerk / knocking under hot sun.. Try grab steering hard when jam under hot sun, u can feel it and it will not happens when rainy days / cool time.. Try to test 97 and see, some more pick up and FC better, even Toyota SC also agreed it.. Even stock mivec engine u pump 99 bhp at 180(Japan claims), 97 bhp at 120, 95 at bhp 99 and knock like hell..we dyno b4... Plan put 92 into Alza engine to make as white mouse This post has been edited by Mag9556: Sep 6 2013, 09:20 PM |

Planning to get the advance version for my Mrs to ferry the kids to school etc. She's driving Myvi now but its falling apart after 7 years plus. Surveyed options for other makes and models <70k, Alza looks like the viable option. Just hoping all known issues have been fixed by P2 by now. Anyone of you have any experiences on the 2013 models.
