I think Wenger is wise in getting Arteta and Benayoun on loan. Both are creative midfielder. While Per is definitely a very good defender. Also, Gervinho, Song and Frimpong will be back from suspension while Wilshere will be back from injury in a couple of weeks time.

I wonder how much the 8-2 defeat to MU forced the board to release funding to buy these players. Wenger also bid but failed to get Hazard and Goetze..

I just can't stop thinking if arsenal can made it to top 4 this season and incredibly win a trophy along the way, that somehow shows fabs and nasri were not the one arsenal really needed at all. and personally i don't think arteta replace fabs or nasri. arsenal has already got wilshere and ramsey to replace those two. arteta and benayoun just add depths and experience.

i'm really looking forward to c where arsenal will be next May ...

Hope to see Arsenal win FA cup or Carling cup hehe but to challenge for BPL, i don't think Arsenal can..

Sczesny, Santos, Mertersacker, Vermalaen, Sagna, Walcott, Wilshere, Song,Arteta, Gervinho, RVP line--up should be good enough for top 4!

I dono why some of you guys dont like chamakh. He has a good heading skills. This is something that RVP can't offer. I think he scored a couple of goal (header) for us right?
*
he's a centre forward. not somebody that can effectively work alone up front

that's why Chu Young Park is being bought.to help guys like him.

Shah alam stadium? Projek gajah putih. Only politicians make $ from it. Definitely underutilised. Now bad shape d. Poor management. No one take responsibility.. I can go on n on n on... But keep it like tat aa.

Arsenal revival starts now. smile.gif btw, buying experience players doesn't mean AW abandon his youth philosophy. Its just he added experience and strength to a side that's clearly need it. I believe sending lansbury to loan n vela too will do them good. Lansbury is ready to step up to 1st team but do u really think fans will be happy is he step into the team now, n we don't get yossi/mikel? Heck! All hell will break loose!

Same goes with bartley. He is one for the future. Sad to see suunu, randall n cruise released by the club. They are good enough but not exceptional. I believe they can develop into better players but just not with arsenal.

Problem with Lansbury is that he is in his final year contract.

Will AW offer him a new contract? brows.gif

I think the main focus on the management side now is getting players to commit to new contracts. Agents will surely be cunts now that they know we got money reserves from summer sales. I hope we will get rvp, vermy, sagna and arsh on new n better contract extension with better renumerations. I think we can afford some luxury already since the team looked set for at least 2 yrs to come. Dont expect mega signing this january or next summer. They way i see it, cahill might sign a pre contract with us in january n join us next july.

Forget hazard... Yoann.. Mvilla n martin. They wont come cheap. I would rather see jack n rambo stay on n carry this team thru. Be a legend like bergkamp, like adams... Like parlour... Like giggs... Like scholes... Committed to the club. Indebted to the club.

The future of arsenal is english..... Wilshere,.. Walcott... Lansbury (hopefully)... Oxlade.. Bartley..gibbs... There are more in the reserves n u19 team. We will rise once again.. N the one that could take us there is wenger. He just bought himself 2 years to develop jack, ramsey n gibbs n other youngsters. Thats the way i see it with arteta, santos, metresacker n yossi. Good attitude.. Loyal players n more importantly experienced players. The way i see it, we finally have the ones that we've been asking for. Thanks fabregas n nasri... For their sales actually makes us stronger financially n now stronger on the pitch. Thanks SAF for the IN UR FACE drubbing to AW n arsenal. For if not for him, maybe the best we'll get is andres santos. Per metresacker already said he might be joining usnext summer when his contract is up. So, if we didnt lose that much, chnces are aw wont get him. We might as well get park coz he is cheap... But arteta n yossi might not be even considered.

Come on u gunners!!! Forward!! Victoria concordia crescint!!

some say our squad is still weak but
hmm lets do some small analysis

Clichy - Andre Santos , Clichy wasnt that great of a player after all
so i personally feel this is a good replacement, equal if not hoping he does better
i think Andre Santos is a much better of an attacker over clichy

CD - per mertesacker, the one everybody calls for, it has been done, our CD has been boosted
+1 here in terms of depth and quality, we can now cross for this tall men to score from set pieces as well biggrin.gif

Cesc - Arteta, Arteta may not be as good as Cesc, but he is definitely quality
so i wouldnt say, we lost that big here, considering we also have Ramsey and Wilshere

Nasri - Gervinho, i may be bias but i think Gervinho can equal nasri if not better as well

Bentdner - ParkCY - i wont know, but from clips, ParkCY has that Arsenal thing in him, he can score and assist
fair replacement, if not better for bentdner haters

Benayoun and Oxlade -
aiya lazy to analyze d

i just think we are ready to go, lets see how the team performs against swansea

the interesting thing is the signing of per mertersacker would be the signal we wont put high defensive line again? as per is not the fastest defender around but his organisazation was top class and tackling rate was superb.
with him and vermalean looks like we set for lower defensive line, which mean higher work rate for our midfielder to press

another one is should we revert back to 442?
we have enough talent to do so,
i like walcott pairing up RVP up front

here's the article
