i seriously damn scared of red card already, this is the first time in my Gooner career i really felt the wrath of red cards,
back then was like mehhh, red card red card la....
probably its also due to injuries we had,
but red card is not nice at all

Is our team weaker than last season ? My opinion is we are actually stronger. Here are the reasons :

1) We got rid of some of the negative players (slow, arrogant, incapable or want to be somewhere else), thus having a better atmosphere.
2) More balance team (good defenders, good midfielders, good forwards). No superstar in the team, everyone is equal and fighting for each other.
3) Each position has two capable players. I like what I see with Jenkinson and Frimpong. As second choice RB, Jenkinson is no worse than Eboue and will only get better with more games played. The emergence of Frimpong finally provide us a backup of Song.

Some may argue that we have not replaced Cesc adequately. But Cesc contributions was not that great last season due to injury. Wilshere is our engine in midfield last season.

I think the reason Mertesacker wear no. 4 is the same as Gallas wear no. 10 before.

Ooh.... he want to tipu himself that car accident is the reason he fail to earn spot in first team apart from horrible finishing.

I see some people are saying Per is slow all over the forum. Ffs he is CB not winger. His job is to win header from set piece from what we lack of all this while. Positioning is important not pace.

our own Hyypia was slow as snail..but he's a top top class in positional sense..if Per as good as Hyypia in positional sense,he'll be a legend at ur club juz like Hyypia at liv..brain is more important than pace..remember Titus Bramble?
