I see some people are saying Per is slow all over the forum. Ffs he is CB not winger.  His job is to win header from set piece from what we lack of all this while. Positioning is important not pace.

if play high defensive line pace is important.

if per is down there playing sweeping role,the offside trap cannot be done

I think finally Wenger got it right on the transfer market. If he had bought one or two established and experienced players few years ago, probably Nasri and Cesc already got the trophies at Arsenal.

Skysports.com readers overwhelmingly agree that Mikel Arteta was the best buy on transfer deadline day after Arsenal secured the Spaniard's services with just moments to spare.

From the transfer activity, we can see that Wenger opt for experienced players rather than fancy talented youngster this time. He wanted to stabilized things first. I think is only a matter of time for Wenger to sign Hazard and Mario. Probably Jan I hope. This is the beginning of new era. Feel like buying a jersey now and print Arteta at the back.

Bendtner- "I will never go back to Arsenal. If I can have it my way, I will never play for them again. "After my car accident I never really got the chance to earn a spot in the first team. That is over one-and-a-half years with no real chance to prove myself. "I am really looking forward to playing for Sunderland and then we will see next summer. I will find a new club - but I will not go back to Arsenal, that's for sure."

Interesting. =D

F*** U NB 52. Arsenal don't need a striker like u. You are not even anywhere close to Lukaku, Balotelli or Hernandez.
