Greetings!

Special thanks to TS for the nice guides esp on the GPU update, finally I'm able to update mine to the latest 280.36. Just got N45 this afternoon as I was drawn to the cute sub and added more ram as well.

Still having the 'windows explorer has stopped working' issues and the slightly awkward keyboard. Cheers!

Downloaded and installed using modified inf, still no games to try gpu yet. I do hope it brings some improvements on the throttled n45 gpu.

Just about to make some happy music with it. Guys, any other ways/uninstall programs or such that I can do to speed up boot time other than reformatting? I've uninstalled some programs as recommended by TS, changed the performance options to best. Heck, I disabled windows startup audio as well. Thanks.

dem...after almost three years of using eepc and finally getting my hands on one nicely-spec n45 and finally able to play some nice games...having this problems pulak. Assassin's Creed Brotherhood in Battery Saving mode plays better than High Performance. Really hope ASUS gonna do sumthing about this.

guys...just a silly question...does your n45sf volume, mute button works when in windows? and my music interface (the one that pops up before windows during startup the first time we start the lappy)...it doesn't appear anymore. Even my wireless f2 button does not work as well. It did worked before. I did uninstall some programs etc...did I deleted any programs that makes those programs work? thanks.

just reinstall ATK drivers
Asus software are retarded, sometimes when u delete Asus related software, the Asus driver goes haywire. Take the ATK driver for an example

ic. thanks. Kinda tired with Asus feedback. Do hope there's sumthing that could be done with n45 throttling.

Encountered an error. While installing ATK package, the program asked to insert CD. The installer CD is already inside the cd drive. What happened eh? tq.

UPDATE : Nvm...downloaded the driver from ASUS and installed fine. biggrin.gif

Looking forward for good news and guidelines on how we can install it. Good to know Asus listens and delivered the promised bios in time. rclxms.gif
