actually this lappy forprogramming and occasional gaming oni.And if im not mistaken,Asus already OC the GT5555M in this laptop by quite a margin,is that true? anyone knows? hmm.gif

lolzzzzz,but compared to original gt555m clocks,these are pretty high clocks rite?

but i think i might be able to overclock because the card hardly goes above 75 degrees. hmm.gif

1.5GB/3GB VRAM is 192-bit.
1GB/2GB VRAM is 128-bit.

Added on October 26, 2011, 11:51 amhmm...base on the pricelist and specs, i couldnt find any GT555M wif 1.5/3GB in Malaysia.so,whter it is i7 or i5,its just have same B revision for GT555M. can i assume tat?

This are the GT555M available in Malaysia.
192-bit GDDR3.
128-bit GDDR3/GDDR5.

1.5GB/3GB GT555M is Alienware M14x.
128-bit GDDR3 is Asus N45SF/N55SF/MSI GE620DX/Sager NP5165/NP5175.
128-bit GDDR5 is Lenovo Y570.

192-bit GDDR3 (144SP) > 128-bit GDDR3 (144SP) > 128-bit GDDR5 (96SP)

erm , wanna ask about the driver thing , I wanna to do a clean format , and which driver i should download from the website ? There are alot of driver and quite massive to find which driver that i need..

Check on your device manager first, note the hardware model especially the wifi, since Asus can install different wifi card..
As for the software, you will need ATK and Wifi Console3 essentially.

Hmmm this information is good enuf to know where our Asus N45/N55SF's Nvidia GT 555M stand off.It will be better if somebody could provide some benchmark score to see the difference between them tongue.gif

I'm feeling so satisfied with the new driver update, no need to mod rclxms.gif

And my overall WEI score increased from 4.7 to 5.8.
- AERO from 4.7 to 5.8 (but I noticed that many people got 5.9)
- Gaming graphics from 6.8 to 6.9

i have just downloaded the win 7 home premium iso, and burn it into a disk, but it can't boot from it after i select boot from cd in the bios.

do i need to extract out the files before burning?

Which version r u using?I am using 285.62 but i got 4.9 for WEI only.I get 5.9 though but its for 280.26.

EDIT:Lol i re-run the WEI assessment and now i got 5.6 =.=ll Before this i re-run again but i got 4.9 doh.gif
