@mikeblink182, can you run GPU-Z 0.5.5 and post its screenshot ?
and use CPU-Z to check which BIOS version installed..

bro ur first pic need to switch to GT555M. At the bottom of gpuz there can change. This is intel HD 3k one

lol xD and by the way, what bios version are u using? Not the graphic one ya, ur motherboard one xD

and btw, the only difference i notice between our gpuz one is that ur gpu bios ended with 05 while mine one ended with 06

oh urs one is bios 209. Ic Ic. mine one is bios 215, not available from web yet, it was given out by service centre though.... but still cannot fix the problem

I didnt flash the latest bios also..still using the default one.Scare scare to flash and y fix something that is not broken is my principle

okay guys please help i am in deep sheet. i own the n55sf and i wasnt satisfied with the intergrated GPU so i disabled it hoping the system would automatically detect the nvidia GPU but it didnt . so right now my laptop doesnt display anything FUUUU. i checked the manual and there are no reset buttons what should i do now

U r awesome .Simon should have warned the users not to disable the integrated GPU in the first page .This is because the optimus works like this.

Nvidia GT 555M -> Intel HD3000 -> Monitor

Ur integrated graphic card acts as a buffer to display things on screen.So if u off it,nothing to display.

Sorry but i have no idea how to enable back a disabled integrated graphic card while the monitor is blank.The only way i can think of is format.

Press F8 during boot, choose to use last known config.
If still cannot, boot into safe mode, enable it.


Based on the GPU-Z, it does seems they edit the GPU BIOS
