True that, furthermore Arteta is willing to take a paycut to join us and that shows determination and desire to play for our squad.

He also have bags of experience in the BPL. We've had enough players that need adapting to the league. (GERVINHO, JENKINSON, CHAMBERLAIN, PARK, PER, SANTOS)

I think it's a good deal....

At least it shows that Arsene still wanna fight for the top, and even winning the league, if he didnt sign anyone in the end, i gonna rage, but since he signed someone, that is kinda quality signing, altho not big money, but still good enough. Because big money big signing not equal to good quality. Just alot of hype will make somebody ridiculously overpriced..

Added on September 1, 2011, 11:33 amBtw, can Mertesacker communicate well with Vermy? Because different language, hope that both of them have a common in language..

Yea this was the best possible outcome. At 2 am journos were saying its either Benayoun or nothing for us because our deal with Arteta almost broke down. What a relief when I saw that we managed to get both !

Arteta and bena is actually those players in epl I like. ?They are creative player which I think shud fit the arsenal style. They are cheap as well but it's mainly due to their age which is also a drawback. However I think Aw bought them to bolster the squad depth and play a couple of years before Ramsey mature.

Btw, any news about our player leaving? Bendtner

As always, Star's comment is my favourite. But I guess Wenger tried hard to keep Nasri, that why dint sell Nasri in July.
But what the heck right, If he sell Nasri during July or earlier, we wouldnt have a chance to see Nasri at SBJ. biggrin.gif

Vermaelen can speak English and most Germans can too pretty well. So I doubt there would be any problem.

Relieved to hear that then, Vermaelen shouldnt be having any problem with speaking English since he was in England for sometimes. If there is no communication problem, our defence should be tough enough smile.gif
