Despite being down to the bare bones, Arsenal have shipped out Armand Traore to QPR. The defender will have a medical at QPR's Harlington training complex later on Monday before securing a loan move.

and it seems benayoun is leaving Chelsea... will Arsenal make a move for him?
*
Simply put, Armand Traore is bad.
Of course it doesn't help that our wingers don't know how to track back to help out but still he is so bad that AW would rather play Sagna (right back) instead.

I think Mertesacker would be a sensational buy.
Partner him with Vermealen and things would be looking tight.

Cahill is overrated imo. Definitely not worth 17m

he's big...n english... n erm...... that's it. hahaha

seriously, he's another overrated player. 17mil is better spend elsewhere... and 9mil for Per ?? just proves how inflated English players are.
*
Exactly. Mertesacker + Santos + Park Chu Young = <20m

Money well spent imo
Balance can be used to sign a star playmaker nod.gif

I'm curious why some of you guys doesn't like Yossi.

When we don't have enough depth, you all complain.

Now when AW buys more players to add depth, you guys complain.

Very hard for Arsenal to please you guys.
*
Well said.

All day everyday fans are mourning about Wenger not signing players. Then when he does, the still are not satisfied.

Yossi is a quality player. Way better than the likes of Rosicky. Bags of experience too. I'd take him in a heartbeat.

bro...look at the situation realisticaly...wenger has sold 3 main player and 2 of them are top class i would say world class...and he collect what? like 70 mil pound total? plus transfer kitty for the season that could mean up to 100mil....

tell me in the past 5 season have wenger done any single signings worth more than 25 mil?? his way of spending for player is equivalent to a mid table team/relegation battling team....

All this stuff you base on what ? Guess work ?

Do you know the whole story ? How do you know it isn't the Arsenal board that refuses to splash the cash.
Obviously Arsene Wenger isn't going to come out and say the board wont let me spend. He is too professional to stoop that low. He has to protect his employers.

Everything said by managers in the media is not entirely true. It is mostly to feed the media that are always looking for a scoop.

Unless you have some inside information on how Arsenal, Arsene Wenger and the Arsenal board operate, you can't come to conclusions such as Wenger doesn't want to spend. You know nothing.

RvP can't score from freekicks. When was the last time he did?

I hear that Park Ju Young guy can take freekicks too.

Anyway Gerv and Song are still banned for the Swansea game right? And wilshere will probably still be out.
*
Yea in an interview Park Chu Young said he used to score a lot of free kicks while in Korea but didn't score a single one with Monaco hmm.gif

True that, furthermore Arteta is willing to take a paycut to join us and that shows determination and desire to play for our squad.

He also have bags of experience in the BPL. We've had enough players that need adapting to the league. (GERVINHO, JENKINSON, CHAMBERLAIN, PARK, PER, SANTOS)

I think it's a good deal....
*
I think the appeal of Champions League football was enough for him
