Sure it is your absorber sound?

Have you check the caliper pin or absorber mounting?

Btw Guys,

Saw a Displaying Myvi Extreme in KL Central today . Seems like the yellow is it's quite yellowish. Can't see it's shining as if you can see yourself from the metal. Well, maybe it might be the lighting in KL Central

Just a sharing. The new Myvi Lagi Best gives drivers more confidence in terms of safety. Sorry if I double-post this. Myvi receives 4-star rating for MyVAP crash test. But, still drive safely. smile.gif

Hello, This news was posted in this thread months ago. MyVAP is by our local so yea, can't really be trusted yet unless they post a video or something. Best would be going for EuroNCAP smile.gif

Actually absorber seldom produce such a loud sound...

When will you encounter the noise?
Is it when you brake while going over a hump, then the noise "kluk kluk kluk"?

Above is what I experienced, I changed the absorber mounting only.

yes..actually i did change the absorber mounting before...i change it after 6 months of taking my car...
i have changed the caliper pin ady..and even serviced the entire brake system..the funny thing is like this...
i install the new absorber..got sound....then send back to the supplier...then my foreman install a second hand 1 for me...then..no sound.... shakehead.gif
funny rite?
most of the myvi also will experience the sound...and now..the sound comes when i drive on not so even road...when crossing bump no sound...

Added on October 7, 2011, 12:22 amand btw...i saw the new lagi power 1.5 extreme in the perodua showroom at puchong, beside IOI Boulevard...is the grill part made of carbon fibre or its juz sticker?

there may have issues with the contact between the absorbers and the brake..i think...
but I'm totally noob with cars and all of its "how it works" stuff...so hopefully some1 can explain.

Some garage told me that there's something not fit there...so it will produce sound but not to a point
that the caliper damage. And no solution to it yet while they have tried.

New myvi got this prob?
