QUOTE(yhlim93 @ Nov 9 2011, 11:47 AM) for ARb isit da thicker the bestter? @@ new myvi has 16mm ARB and its recommended to go for rear arm same size 16mm . no roll is for track car and not street car on street you still need certain amount of roll to increase traction and initial & exit steering so if u install rear 18 mm and your front is 16mm you would loose some initial steering/traction which of course again does not apply in real world driving. my wife drives this 1.5 on a daily basis and i get to lepak it for the weekend and i love those fast corners and thats why i would prefer less roll for faster entry and exit This post has been edited by bulldog2: Nov 9 2011, 12:23 PM Attached thumbnail(s)

QUOTE(yhlim93 @ Nov 9 2011, 12:11 PM) ooh ic~ so if i chnged my front strut bar to UR thn hw much thickness u suggest for rear ARB@@ Bro, front already hv ARB... U want to change to thicker ARB izzit?? Im not sure which thickness u should choose to pair with front, should ask opinion from those who have already experiment with different thickness ARB... Some1 else's setup that works for him/she may not suit ur preferences, so its up to what u expect from ur ride

QUOTE(MorningBoyz @ Nov 9 2011, 12:14 PM) year end car is awesome got discount, but well is not like we buy this car at year end, then next year going to sell it and change car rite? different people have different preference most ppl do not like year end because of the time they sell they loose one year... and the biggest point here is chinese ppl always want new car for the new year... hence the year end car thing came into play

QUOTE(ikiey @ Nov 9 2011, 12:27 PM) Myvi front ARB is 23mm... I stand corrected. no wonder it didn't feel any different...and I am still suspicious of the rear anti roll does have any real effect or not. look at the picture its so thin!! and its mounted on the by 2 screw and nut each side without any point holding at the center of the arm.so in my mind how actually does this work at all coz i do not see the flex point at the arm. Unlike the strut bar where we can see the actual flex point.

Unlike the strut bar where we can see the actual flex point. That's my concern to Bro, bcuz myvi rear is already torsion beam... Actually, it's like an anti roll bar already... N how cud 16mm thick helps reduce flexing from the original torsion beam which is already far more thicker than the 16mm rear ARB...?? U get my point..?? Maybe because of the struts that actually improves ur ride's handling... If that's so, than it makes better sense to just add struts bar than rear ARB if the rear ARB helps very minimal... Maybe struts + fender bar combination will be better...?? Or, any1 have experience to 1st add struts bar, n only then add rear ARB.... Those who did this in sequence will know the real effect...

for my myvi 1 - change to 15" rim and 195/55 or 195/50 tyre size : car stable in when drive fast, not much floating feeling. 2 - lower with Eibach springs : steering feel abit heavy but nice to drive, especially in corners. 3 - add UR front strut bar : immediate feel more heavy but very very stable, when drive fast and cornering. the car still have body roll feel in the rear. 4 - add UR ARB 16mm bar : body roll becoming very very less, very nice especially in fast corners but not eliminate totally the body roll. Overall ARB still a MUST have for myvi,if you like corners and using stock springs and tyres.

QUOTE(adeas @ Nov 9 2011, 02:09 PM) guys... my new LPLB fc is around 11.8km/l..is the fc will change after first service? =) Yes it will... Mine before 1st service +/- 12km/l... Now +/- 14km/l... About the same driving style. But now drive with heavier right foot. Engine already habis pantang. So, if got tempted by other car (cucuk2 my butt), ill also play2 with that car laa... So, basically it's more economical... 1 full tank i manage to fuel in +/-RM70 worth of fuel, n then from that until trip meter shows +/- 50km to empty, i can get total of 520-530km mileage... Nice right??

Really aa?? Im so affraid when 50km left already like crazy carik petrol station... After 0km can drive how far?? Couples of times always wanted to try can go how far, but 30km + only i dare... Added on November 9, 2011, 2:42 pmBro, but 520-530km i got from rm70 worth of fuel... I force fuel to go into the tank.. Bcus the petrol pump lever will kick at around RM57-58, then need to wait the fuel go down, n then continue filling... Bit by bit until reach Rm70... New myvi a bit harder to peek into the filling hole... Old myvi easier n much faster the fuel go down into the tank... Do this only if theres no one queuing behind u lar.. If theres a car or two 2 queuing u still do this, for sure get hentam by angry people waiting for u to finish fueling ur car This post has been edited by ikiey: Nov 9 2011, 02:43 PM

Myvi fuel tanks just 40 litre, so RM70 is about 36 litre of fuel....

RM70 the fuel until brim level n wont go down anymore... U get RM66 from forcing and waiting the fuel to go down or u just leave the fuel pump until it stops automatically...?

Old one is easier I see, thanks bro! Drove old myvi before but never pump fuel on it before... BTW, u can pump in nearly 36 litre of fuel while the fuel tank is just 40 litre, which mean when then fuel indicator starts blinking, there will be less than 5 litre of fuel left?
