How to draw ears?

Added on September 24, 2011, 12:59 pmWIP,still need to attach flowers and butterflies on her body.Inspired by DJ Okawari album cover.There are no shadows on her face,thus,I called this unfinished piece-



2B,B,HB,0.5 2B mechanical pencil and a tissue.
Finally got time to draw something...studying sucks.

U r good at drawing faces i give u that. but other times ur body proportion tend to be a bit off. So dont take my compliment too seriously.

Added on September 24, 2011, 1:33 pmIts good but about average. Need more mix of skin toning or lighting to make it less ......bland. As of now this piece feels more like basic colour blending between two color.

Probably. The background's going to be a "deep space" background. Need to finish that before I work more on the character.

Getting paid, yes, for someone who'd seen my work and wanted me to paint her character for her.

no shadow? got la
usually people shoot model all white white one, got harsh shadow on face one is more on black and white and western style photography i think.
anyway it is one of the lighting technique of photography.

at first i thought you're drawing a young man

LOL she isn't meant to look "cute" or "sweet", or even beautiful. She's a soldier-type character who's in her late twenties (almost thirty) and who has been in a lot of wars. The client wanted a raw, unkempt kind of good looks and not polished beauty.

I tiru this from Japanese fashion megazine,u guys asyik critique my body proportion so I go buy that to study more asian woman anatomy.

i thought women soldier is more shorter hair XD

LOL Agito, I imagine sci-fi setting type soldiers who fight most of the time in full body armour (complete with helmet) don't REALLY need to keep their hair short.

in fact samus being a girl is an unlockable/easter egg back in their 1st game
which is planned in the production of their game
