Why does everyone call them actors?

Maybe players like Alves and Busquets are very, very good in acting but that doesn't mean the whole squad is.

Messi is one player who i have never seen to "Cheat". He gets kicked, pushed, shoved, slapped, elbowed but he never lays on the ground, unless it is really serious. All he does is get up and run again.

I know there are videos on youtube of them "cheating" but if you notice, majority of the clips came from the same matches. Why?

Against Chelsea in 2008/2009, they had tons of penalties not awarded against them. It's stupid to say it is because Barcelona cheat. Maybe they are favoured but it is all the referee's calls and nothing to do with Barcelona.

Against Real Madrid in almost every season especially under Jose Freaking Mourinho, Barcelona players get kicked, pushed, shoved, elbowed and whatever by Real Madrid players. Obviously they would take advantage of the way Real Madrid plays. Real Madrid were playing rough just to stop Barcelona from playing their game. A bit of a ***** strategy, IMO. Something like Netherlands in the 2010 World Cup Final. Believe me, if you were playing a game and you're getting kicked, pushed, shoved, elbowed, you'd also take the chance to lay on the ground in order to get the opponent carded because you can't stand the treatment of players kicking you and referee not doing anything about it.

And regards to cheats, almost every team has them.

I am a Liverpool fan and Suarez is a great pretender. He often exaggerates contact. Gerrard himself has admitting to diving to avoid injuries.

Arsenal's Fabregas was used to said to have "dove" at times. Chelsea has got pretenders in Drogba. Real Madrid themselves got Pepe and Ronaldo. Manchester United has got Nani.

Every team has players like this and sadly, it has become part and parcel of football.

Some brilliant player by Barcelona again. Knows how to beat Madrid at their own ground.

I am just going to write it down in this thread and not the Real Madrid threat but Real is such a bunch of losers. They get outplayed by Barcelona, they resort to playing rough by heavy challenges, kicking, shoving and pushing Barcelona. Why'd you think Barcelona do their play acting? They take advantage of the harsh treatment on them.

Pepe is a ****. Carvalho should have seen red.

Well done, Barcelona. They always believe in their way of playing and it surely reap rewards.

Sheesh.

Fair enough, Barcelona have their pretenders, especially Dani Alves and Sergio Busquets but it's not like Barcelona is the only team with players like these. Man United, Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea, Real Madrid and many more had/have them at one point in time.

There was a youtube video showing Barcelona's hollywood act. Please, that's utterly pathetic by the uploader. He only put the videos to support his case. The two matches that was shown time and time again were Barcelona vs Chelsea in 2008/2009 and Real Madrid vs Barcelona. Guess what? Those are not the only two matches they have played in their history. Yeah, maybe they have had a bit of their "acts" in other matches but so does every other team.

Against Chelsea, the four penalties turned down? It's the freaking referee's call. Maybe Barcelona were favoured but you cannot blame the club and blame the players for "cheating" when it was all on the referee. Even Man United are favoured by the FA.

As for the Real Madrid games. It's so obvious that Real Madrid play dirty. They kick, shove, push, stamp and whatever against Barcelona. Barcelona only take advantage. So who is the dirty team? If you're a player and you're constantly getting kicked with no protection from the referee, you won't stand it and you'd just want to lay on the turf to get the ref's attention.

All the fans around the world will regard Barcelona as one of the greatest team ever in football's history. As for Madrid? Yeah, that team led by a dipshit that can't beat Barcelona and the team that has a manager and players who are classless and have very poor sportsmanship. Di Stefano or Bernabeu will be very disappointed to see what is happening at the moment because the current manager and a handful of players are a disgrace to the Madridista.

Simply, many people accept that "cheating/play acting" has become part and parcel of football so stop whining about Barca playing diry because Madrid do to. FACHT.

Real Madrid will win the La Liga now, I'm afraid.

But Pep won't care if he brings home the Spanish Cup, Copa Del Rey, European Cup with Club World Cup already in the cabinet.

Agreed!

One thing I feel he can't do, though, is to lead a team as captain. XD

About 13 more goals to equal Cesar Rodriguez's all time goal scoring record.

Messi's into his 8th season as a Barca first teamer and has 222 goals while Rodriguez scored 235 goals in 13 seasons with the club (16 years at the club). With 15 games in the league left and still other cup competitions, I'm sure he'll overtake that record by season's end.

Messi has 40 goals to his name this season. Got 53, 47 and 38 goals the seasons before. He's consistent as hell!

Immense player.

But...but...he need to prove himself in other leagues too to be called the best ever. Should show off his stuffs in a more competitive, physical and bestest league too. brows.gif  brows.gif Oh and not to forget, to perform in a cold night pitch in the Britannia stadium. laugh.gif

Btw, among barcastuff latest feeds:

Guardiola told his agent not to listen to any offer. If he doesn't renew, he'll take a sabbatical year. Inter Milan offer 20M net. [marca]

Moratti is really crazy, if the news is true of course.

Maybe he might not play as well in the Premier League or against Stoke as he does in Spain but i don't think it's fair to say he cannot be considered the best just because he never played in other leagues ..

Pele only played in Brazil and USA. Maradona only played in Italy, Argentina and Spain. And Platini only played in France and Italy.

I don't know how great were the Brazillian, American, Italian, Argentine, Spanish and French leagues at that time but the Spanish league Messi is playing in is probably one of the top leagues in the world at the moment alongside the Premiership. And considering Messi has played against English teams and come out on top, he's quite alright, isn't he? smile.gif

Ironically Maradona failed to set Spain alight in 2 occasions, with Barca and Sevilla. Few know this however.
Tell that to EPL fags who has been constantly belittling LL as a competition.

In truth, Messi doesn't need to move to prove himself. And I don't think he is obsessed to prove himself to anybody. He just enjoys playing football, and so far Barca system and his style fits very nicely. Absolutely no reason to move IMHO.

Agreed.

That's what I like about Messi. He's just a kid who wants to play football. He doesn't really care what people think of him but he just wants to play.

That free kick so imba.

That angle and a left footed free kick usually doesn't add up but Messi manages to put the ball out and in.

Awesome.
