cronaldo can break that record...
he is a goal scoring machine.

take this into picture, cronaldo doesn't need to drop deep to get the ball unlike messi
so by right cronaldo has a better chance to get into goal scoring positions...

in the league they are pretty even.
its just htat in CL where cronaldo has failed to score a lot.

im really surprised by messi.
he is a playmaker and attacker but yet scores so many goals.

anyone know what time the re-run of the match is?
cant find any info on astro's website...
only 831 not available.

That's because Ronaldo feeds off people's work!!! I still think his goals are alot because he takes many more penalties than Messi, takes more free kicks than Messi and I'm not sure but I think alot of his goals are from pretty easy tap ins.

I mean, he scores alot of wonderful goals as well but I think the goals Messi scored are more difficult, or at least alot of them are in his 240ish goals for Barcelona.

And to be honest, I enjoy Messi's overall play more. I watched the Real Madrid - Bayern Munich game and other than scoring the two goals, Ronaldo did shit all and it's moments like that he's needed.

xavi, cesc, pique?

So close! Xavi is wrong tongue.gif

QUOTE(ahaksz28 @ May 5 2012, 02:05 AM)
Messi, cesc, pique? tongue.gif Messi wit mask? unsure.gif
*
Yup, Messi with mask. He fractured his cheekbone in one of the games before that and he was told he can only play this if he wore a mask. When game started, he threw the mask away because it was blocking his sight and told the coach "Let me play for 10 minutes then you can take me off". He scored 2 goals before he was taken off .. as usual!

Cesc hasn't age one bit!  laugh.gif

Yeah, he still has that devious look of his tongue.gif

8 more goals in two more matches?? That is pushing luck bro tongue.gif
*
XD it is a disappointing season if he doesn't reach 80 LOLOL just kidding.

72 goals is amazing enough. Even if you take away he's penalty kicks .. he's probably on 50 goals at least.

I made this meme after he hat trick he scored against Malaga

and funnily enough, he scored 4 yesterday!!

It looks as though Real Madrid lettign their 2nd team play only with a few first team players ...but I'm sure they want Ronaldo to win it.

Messi just needs to score a hat trick again ... unless Ronaldo can score 10 goals in the last game.

Anyways, Messi has 211 goals in 217 games under Pep Guardiola .. this season he has 9 hat tricks, 2 four goals and 1 five goals! 20 games where he has scored 3 or more goals since his debut.

AMAZING!

Thanks Pep.

What a life he must have had.

Came through La Masia, captained the Barcelona squad and won trophies, managed the Barcelona squad and also won trophies.

Last league match tonight against Betis. Last test before CDR final. Another quadruple pls Messi tongue.gif
*
Yup! 4 tonight and 4 in final .. 80 this season! More than the Liverpool team!!

Anyways, to all Barca fans or even football fans, in fact, I recommend the book "Barca - The Making of the Greatest Team in the World".

I am reading it at the moment and I'm enjoying it. Talks about La Masia, the making of Leo, the making of Guardiola, the making of Puyol-Pique and all that.

How to get the book, man? Hope you dont mind that Im a Real Madrid fan, but I consider myself first and foremost Football fan. Football comes first, club and national teams are secondary. Peace. icon_rolleyes.gif

Added on May 12, 2012, 8:30 pmBtw, I think leo Messi is one of the greatest footballer, so are Cristiano Ronaldo, cassillas, xavi, xabi alonso, iniesta, and luckily la liga is blessed with the best group of players there is..

denied a win again, lucky to have keita scoring the equalizer in the final minute. pretty much average game from the lads imo, missed the second yellow card on alves.
*
You mean Alves' second yellow or what?

It was a stupid challenge by him. Could be a red as well.

Anyways, the team was below par last night. The defending was so bad .. it's no surprise considering the two goals Chelsea scored (Drogba and Ramires) also capitalised on poor defending.

I'd love Jordi Alba and another CD to partner Pique at the back.

yeah the second yellow, but connection goes down at that time, later when continue streaming he's already out. lol
imo the defending in the first half is pretty decent, esp from mascherano.

not much can be say, as betis utilize fully the mistake from the mistake of our defender
*
That was a very stupid challenge by Alves ... Betis played was going nowhere ..

Yup .. the defence has been very sloppy in the last few weeks. Just look at the goals Chelsea, Real Madrid and Betis scored ..

I thought Pep wanna rest for a year. sweat.gif
*
Haven't you heard? He secretly wants the Liverpool job XD lol jk.

Well .. it's kinda good he steps down as manager of Barcelona... I love the man but he wants to go out when he's at the top and this is the best time.

People expect Barcelona to carry on like this for so many years and Pep has done so much in the last 4 years.

I think it has taken a toll on him to keep that consistency. Perhaps he wants a job of less pressure :/

But he didn't specifically say he wants to work straightaway .. thought he said he will only consider if he is "seduced".

QUOTE(Ichighost @ May 25 2012, 08:12 PM)
I think the reason why pep step down was because of 1 - new challenge 2 - he cant change barca no more..he cant even introduce plan B..
*
Cause .. there is no plan B in Barcelona XD That's what I like about them .. they believe in their way of playing. Yes, maybe it doesn't work 100% of the time but I respect that they continue to believe but to be fair ... even though they were knocked out by Chelsea .. i think they were more like "unlucky" than plan not working at all.

But that's part of the Barcelona philosophy .. they will never change. They will play the Barcelona way and are doing so from the under 10 team to the first team maybe.

I think it's just alot of pressure for him to maintain Barcelona at the top. He's done so much to bring them there since 2008 and it's much more hard to keep them there.
