we are bad until xavi and villa are introduced to the game, lucky for us to get a win, even tho a draw would be a better reflection to the game, but well, a win is a win.

so lucky.... the ref sent off one osasuna player and the first goal was offside..

wouldn't win this game without ref's help...

They r doing the citeh.. if u know what I mean
Osasuna is so powerful they can beat barca any other day, only if barca don't do the citeh.. if u know what I mean
anyway, good game. XAVI will be hard to replace, just like Paul Scholes, the King of Midfielder

bro messi was onside if u look at the replay and the red card was for protesting messi onside goal which is kinda harsh for the defender to get send off

I watched until 20th minute then went to sleep. I thought it's gonna end draw but Messi just showed the world he can do anything he want within 4 minutes (76' & 80').

since u were sleeping i tell u the real story.. messi was lucky.. most of the time he is just "x jadi" in anything.. for the two goals he was in a right place at d right tym.. he was was playing to deep in the centre most of d tym and failed dribbling many tyms too.. i hope he and d team play better nex game.

Added on August 27, 2012, 9:36 amalso not to mention that we dont play possession like we normally do.. we dont hold the ball long enough nor creating more chances in front of goals..

Tello needs more polishing before become a star. Pep's decision to start Tello ahead of Pedro in league el classico last season might have cost us the game

Yup, playing below our normal standards. Maybe fatigue after King's Cup in mid week

im more concern wit this kind of performance as in couple of days time we wil face RM again at their ground..

howeva after three matches played under tito management, i notices few things.. we dun played possession football like we always do, less tiki taka, distance between players are wider, more dribble n run play, wingers will cross the ball into the centre compared to lastym we will bring to ball into the penalty box.. and messi is playin deep in d centre rather then rushing forward like las season..

im not sure will this kind of play suited us howeva wat i believe there r players in our squad can benefit wit this kind of play. for example affelay.. this kind of play is like how holland play their football.. they hold possession but they hav space to run, dribble and shoot. so this kind of play is perfect for player such as him. imo tho. nod.gif notworthy.gif

indeed we are, tito got his subs spot on, xavi brings back the rythms, villa and pedro gives messi much more spaces than tello's impact.

move on to another leg of supercopa, it is quite worrying to see cesc still cannot effectively play in the team, despite a brilliant first half of last season.

Sometimes it's good to experiment with a different style in order to find a way to counter ultra defensive teams like Chelsea and RM. They seem to be the only roadblocks in our path to glory

Not a good performance from the team, osasuna nearly nailed us hard...
and gota agreed on the part that we played a less passing game compared to last season...oh, and the red card was abit harsh towards the team..

Tello and cesc were non-existent.. Esp cesc.. Our right flank was crap because of this and dani has to be in advanced positions to help our attack on the right, which left a huge void on defense therefore a lot of osasuna's attack came from the left.. surprised tito pulled iniesta out for xavi instead of cesc..maybe he has the real match on his mind.. tello on the other hand, still has a lot to learn in terms of running into space, a lot of times iniesta couldnt find a killer pass to him, which then shut down our threat from the left as well.. As soon as villa came on, he linked up so much better with jordi, which then led to the 2nd goal.. messi had a few decent chances esp in the 1st half... but yeah we were totally lucky for our 1st goal cause alexis was offside.. then again messi has been wrongly called offside at least twice in this match..

very bad
up till 70+ minutes, before the 1st goal, the team was horrible:

-distance between player to wide
-lackluster,half ass pass.easily intercept
-at 60minute,40sec something, puyol even 'set up' a shooting chance for the opposition's player.luckily didnt goal

i dont know what tito had in mind, but for me,what barca need is to be like spain.thats all

-use all attacking opportunity/chances
-attack from all side, not in the middle.like how pep been doing in last season
-less dependent on messi
-more forward pass, move forward.not pass up till the opponent's penalty box, just to pass it back to defender
