That look nothing like Barcelona at all. I don't know about their early history, but Barcelona always synonym with blue and red stripes. Is this new jersey some kind of homage to their old tradition or what?

Well .. it's kinda good he steps down as manager of Barcelona... I love the man but he wants to go out when he's at the top and this is the best time.

People expect Barcelona to carry on like this for so many years and Pep has done so much in the last 4 years.

I think it has taken a toll on him to keep that consistency. Perhaps he wants a job of less pressure :/

But he didn't specifically say he wants to work straightaway .. thought he said he will only consider if he is "seduced".

I think the reason why pep step down was because of 1 - new challenge 2 - he cant change barca no more..he cant even introduce plan B..

Cause .. there is no plan B in Barcelona XD That's what I like about them .. they believe in their way of playing. Yes, maybe it doesn't work 100% of the time but I respect that they continue to believe but to be fair ... even though they were knocked out by Chelsea .. i think they were more like "unlucky" than plan not working at all.

But that's part of the Barcelona philosophy .. they will never change. They will play the Barcelona way and are doing so from the under 10 team to the first team maybe.

I think it's just alot of pressure for him to maintain Barcelona at the top. He's done so much to bring them there since 2008 and it's much more hard to keep them there.

Yep think so too. He has won almost everything anyway with current team. Rest and a new challenge maybe something that he want when he decided to not extends his stay with barca.

So tonight is his last night with us. Hope he can end it with a win and a cup although we had a few first team players injured iinm. But not Messi

i'm expecting a tougher competition from athletic , if this match continues like this, definitely the spot in spain squad is for pedro instead of muniain/adrian

is it just me or does messi looks disinterested lately... it seems like he has no responsibilities defensively..not chasing balls down.. closing down opposing plays.. he just stands around and wait for plays to come to him.. like sometimes when he loses possesion, or when team mates around him loses the ball, he does not react to get into positions to steal the ball/stop opponent's play.. this kinda pisses me off tbh.. am i the only one who sees it this way?
