i know currently Torres miss is a laughing matter now that he isn't the man he was but if he is, we would had been punished. I know SAF will train Evans and Jones harder to avoid repeating the same mistake. there are still long way to go until the end of the season and Chelsea did numerous of times found a way through our defence. hopefully our defence is tighter in the next game. a good lesson for our team but a win is still sweet. Congrats to Man Utd team.

haha, both of them as well.. Well.... If thats the case, Smalling will be forever be in RB position already. Just like Wes Brown. Don't know why, i prefer having Smalling + phil jones in CB, maybe because of England patnership.

Chicharito might be sidelined for few weeks.... Time for Berbatov to shine? Or is it the time for Macheda?

Actually Rio play RB also not bad.... his crossing sometimes is quite good though

If Rafael comes back from injury, it will be a huge competition between him and smalling, giving that smalling has provided a string of performances. or Maybe Rafael will replace Evra. Who knows....

Evans did well in my opinion, apart from the goal where Jones went up to support the attack causing our defense a big gap in the middle.

Don't forget the cross field pass from Evans to Nani which lead to the 2nd goal is gooding yo (hint of slight offside)

why was Rio not playing in the 1st place? injured?
evans + jones quite OK but i think they need to feed off either Vidic or Rio
neither evans nor jones was as vocal as Vidic/Rio
they need to scold each other; or scold DDG; or scold the midfield more often

the cons of young defender is usually concentration....evans-jones partnership is good but a bit lack of concentration...it will get better once they have become experience...

just face it guys, even Vidic was pwned by Torres before, so why the hate for Evans here? dun forget Torres is returning to his form lately

Agree to this. Our central midfield did not protect the back four well. Chelsea looks more dangerous once Lampard went off and Mata switched to the centre. But in the end , 3points in the bag. What can i complain

Actually the hate of Evans is not only due to this match. It has been happened since last season. You can see his performance from last season is pretty bad until now. I do hope that he can improved much better for this season.

Those kind of run is what should be expected from a 50M pound player. That is what the old Torres do. Our defence did great although sometime lack of concentration where they did not track opponent's run. But that's normal for a young defence line up. Nani was immense last nite and Young was impressive once again.

Somehow is true, there is abit of slacking in midfielder. So either way also got flaws. Can't really blame the fault on midfield. that's the reason of having 4-4-2 formation instead of 3-5-2, if midfielder is so much important.

I think Torres is slowly going back to his best right now.

Provided that AVB has much patience for his return. He didn't look happy yesterday despite his multiple chances.

huh? last season he was bad, that's true, but this season also bad? u sure?

I can't say he's good seriously. Even how many times you try to hit me hard on this i will still say, Evans is still no way in standard this season. Despite series of winning.

I lost hope on him alot. If you compare 2 season ago when he stood after pique was sold, he was so strong and keep the defense line very well. Not even an expensive value of player can go through him. He's still lacking this season.

His tackling is precisive and accurate. But not for this season. He lead penalty, lead defense. What can I say...

Evans will improve will experience.. SAF have fate in him for a reason

Have soft spot for Evans as he is home-grown and come through the ranks at United. His best is yet to come, I think.

Besides he is the only one who're capable to kung-fu Drogba and get away with it like a boss
