yea i think will contact them regarding the warranty stuff...but do they give refurbish set as replacement?
and btw u2410 is kinda old now...is there any news that dell going to release another replacement for this model?
U2410 still on sales so it's not an old model, just this model lasted quite sometimes, btw don't compare U2410 to the newer U2412HM, they're different league.

Erm. It's actually like this. I was asking about laptop monitors reso, 1366x768(HD+) would fit a 14 inches monitor nicely. While 1366x768 on a 15.6 inches monitor would look bad(the pixels are a bit too big tho, 1600x900 would look so much nicer on a 15.6 inches laptop monitor). If 1600x900 fit 15.6 inches monitor nice, i think a 20 inches monitor(which doesn't have full HD) would require a higher reso?
Oh, you mean laptop vs desktop, well 15.6" already has 1080p, Dell XPS, Alienware, and some other brand gaming notebook (sorry if your fan-brand is not on the list

) all has 1080p on their 15.6" or higher display.
Desktop however is slightly slower to adapt to this technology but I can be sure that next year is probably the year that next gen of display will start to coming into the market.

Well... Intel already has the road map for the display technology, even the 13" has 1080p... nice~

Even the biggest LCD TV on the market is still 1080p... if you look closely you can see the dot.
