IMO, the previous price hike is mainly due to Raya and Indian wedding season.

This is not strange but more realistic right?
Doesnt make sense is the price spiral up like rocket then it will be like bubble...

Doesn't "price spiral up" and "bubble" mean the same thing? Both also mean price going up, just that bubble is used in the case of overvaluation

I think if your gold account is GSPA, then you still can withdraw physical gold until a certain time, not too sure when is the last day they allow customers to withdraw it... If it's MGIA, you can't withdraw physical gold anymore.

Oh, I found the news from Maybank.

http://www.maybank2u.com.my/mbb_info/m2u/p...d=/mbb/Personal

You can get physical gold from UOB, goldsmiths, public gold, etc. There are also many dealers online.

No offense but repetitive questions like "Shall I buy now?" gets real annoying when its been ask numerous time. Do your own research and make your own decision based on your own finding.

Rule of thumb is, if you cant stomach the bumpy roller coaster dont get into the darn line! tongue.gif

Anybody here tried CIMB yet? Compares to MBB & PBB, their spread is lower. UOB too far. Now I'm reconsidering my choice.

+1

But it's not the time for gold to become bubble yet, not as most expert said. Read... http://cnbusinessnews.com/no-bubble-in-gol...-all-time-high/

LOL...can't help it...sometimes noob or new folks just join and ask...it doesn't help them to slowly browse the thread page by page...

so i guess we just ignore the post and continue the thread...

btw...no one can tell if it's a good time..if that guy has such a nice crystal ball... that's almost impossible...

generally past history of gold, the trend is upward if you spread it over many many years but there was some periods when you have dips..so for those dip period...if you invest short term and sell off the gold during the dip period...then can lose money also...

even if the gold price go up... no one can tell you how much it goes up... it can go up 1% over whole year...that one not worth right? tongue.gif but it can also go up 30% over the year...

Is it possible to have inflation and recession happening at the same time?

From my understanding, inflation happens when there's lots of money chasing a product but in recession is that possible when money is tight?

You'll have to understand what a recession is. And inflation. Then, you can understand why both can happen at the same time.

We'll have to find a country with decreasing populations to really find a real managed deflation. Japan could become one.
