Just lodged my PR and paid the fees for me wife and kid, awaiting grant soon.

By the way the new list is out, and no occupations removed also some added as chef, brik layer, wall and floor tiler plus a few others.

same with the CSOL list by states. those intending should give it a try as there could be an increase in visa fees.

By the way i didnt use an agent just followed the instructions by the Aus Immi website, started process in dec 13 and now june 14 expecting PR.

Anyone need some guidence willing to help ...just post them questions here

Actually assessment took exactly 12 weeks but got caught up in dec/Christmas holidays , so lost a couple of weeks there.

State Sponsor took another 4 weeks after assessment. EOI lodged 30th aprill and invite received 1st May.

Paid via fees 11th June and front loaded all documents including KDN/Police clearance.

Next weekend will do medical and wait for CO allocation. by the way mine is subclass 190

Great news! I am still waiting for EOI to be picked up because the agent completed my EOI just when ACT changed it rules. Plus no changes to the state CSOL lists means there would be no changes to my application status  cry.gif

turnover of 1.5mill is easy , but having liquid rm800k to transfer and to show immigration is another matter altogether.

They will also want to see bank transactions leading up to 800k, was it gathered in a short time/quick or thru asset sale. also you would have to furnish IRB tax documents amounting to 1.5 mill turnover yearly.

this is to stop inflow of terrorist funding

you are only concerned if

a) you are a crook

b) you are defrauding the IRB

lol yes, was reading in another forum...how many from prc, bangladesh, iran and pakistan try to play the system with showing cash in account bla bla bla only to get caught when DIPB does external checks.

in fact some of these countries are listed as high risk, and even thru normal visa's their applications easily take more then a year to get approved.

When i was in uni in us, 12 yrs ago many use this same method setting up it company and sponsoring friend for H1B visa...they manage to escape for awhile until INS figured out the scam and many now on permanent ban to the USA. and once you receive immigration ban from USA , you can't enter most countries already cause the database is shared.

I had a friend who has a DUI charge in US 5 years ago, he manage to qualify for AU Pr paid nearly 40k for him and wife + 4 kids. but when they ask him to provide FBI clearance from USA , the DUI is listed there and his PR to AU rejected and all the fees forfeited no refund.

You might want to check the architecture field in Malaysia, pay like peanuts, most likely be a cad monkey if you join a firm.

Unless you have strong contacts in industry via family or strong cable getting a good position very difficult.

Local U , churns out many architecture grads yearly.

I know architecture grads from RMIT etc..already few years and still only doing CAD work for big firms, plus PAM has a way of making sure you will be in your late 40's before you get to put the coveted AR title in front of your name. sorry of topic....

Be prepare for that then. Working like a work horse or cow...eating grass to survive.
Probably you could try for following architect firm in KL, dealing with them in several project:-
1) GDP Architect
2) BEP Architect
3) Akitek Habitas
4) Garis Architect
5)....can't remember long long ago rclxub.gif

Unlike Malaysia, cars are not a status symbol. No one gives a f what you drive, or where you work or how much you have in the bank.
