hi all, what is the ATF and how many litre needed for gen2 1.6 auto, 1st gen? also how many litre of engine oil needed? thank you.

atf, auto transmision fluid. ( minyak gearbox... bukan sup gearbox yee)
if not mistaken either 5 or 6 bottles ( each bottle : 1 litre , around MYR27 ..)

engine oil , its 4 litre . ( its actually slightly less than 4 litres, its around 3.8 litres)

leaking @ oilseal flywheel
cranksensor and somewhere @ driveplate
still dont know yet the real problem

Tot of just drain and refill only, no remove strainer/filter, 4 litre should be enough right?

correct me if im wrong but...

as long as your engine is well mantained and has not started to leak. should be ok. but first time switching to thinner oil,,, suggest you to monitor the oil level and check often for any leaks. also always check your exhaust smoke to make sure you're not burning black oil...

SPIII i suppose got extra friction modifier, no? Last time I tot our manual also state to use SPIII.. Pelis korek mi if aim wrong.

yes for normal drain and refill, 4 liter should be enough.. in some cases, it may need 4 and half liter

regarding the EO, it depends on your rings & cylinders condition.. if too thin then might introduce engine-eat-oil symptom..

aritu yg saspek crankshaft patah tapi targetwheel yg besepai pomen kajang buat.. so still under pomenkajang's hand.. jd hantar sana balik buat leaking tu etc etc..

How if the engine is new? only 300+km used....

I ask this is because I searched some old discussion, mentioning proton advised only 20W50 oil to be use in gen2 campro.
