ah..saja saja nak share dengan korang yang tak tau. Yang dah tau, tolong comment kasi idea sikit.

Project sumbat IAFM kedalam kereta ku.
Manifold besi sudah diremoved. Found out some difference that need to be fixed.

MAF sensor(not sure the correct term) has a different socket. Need to modify. (Possible to use back the old sensor, but need to modify abit which i would like to remain original.Incase project failed, can use back)

The sensor at the throttle body that connects to the petrol charcoal canister. At a glance, it can use back the original 1. Else the socket has to be modified too.

Throttle body is not the same as iafm. But it has the same base. So just remove the pin at the iafm manifold and good to go.

Wire harness. Ini kepala sakit. The original wire loom is routed above the manifold. But IAFM manifold has no hole in between to route part of the wiring harness. So have to find a way to route it below manifold, or above.

At the moment ini macam saja. Wait when i futher work, i will update ye...

tang IAFM flap tu pun dalam theory phase lagi. Wait i success baru i posting itu.

sementara manifold tu dah keluar, buat valve cover gasket leaking sekali..

project IAFM gagal.
Sebab sebab gagal:

1: Module IAFM akan tersangkut di alternator.
2: Cilinder satu akan sangkut pada hose air yang keluar dari block engine.
3: Belakang manifold akan sangkut pada hose hose steering rack.

atas sebab sebab yang ini, aku sudah official cancel project.

S@ni, takde benda yang ada di ipoh orang KL minat...takkanlah nak jual ahmoi ipoh pulak..biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

Convert jer..dont think so much! from 380km per full tank, i am getting at 500km per full tank now.(full highway usage).
better power and pickup(but dont expect to tapao other ppl car.).

Con for me is...have to take to puspakom and mod geran + insurance. which i did after 1 1/2 years later...whahaha..

This thing i do not recommend to pasang. Becos its expensive. Becos the bush used is a very cheap bushing. Tak sampai 2 bulan, the bushed spoilt already. And there are cases where the joint broke off. If foremen tell you kenot alignment. kenot add washer to align,ask him hardworking abit. Find some longer screw(For the chasis area), then put metal washer till alignment ngam!


*i was conned when i got my car...added this and that. Found out it can be diy-ed easily, but time consuming.

Buih tu,jangan cepat sangat hampa. Mungkin masuk angin jer.

Gi at left side of engine,ada satu hose besi. Di situ ada satu nut/screw size sepuluh kalau tak salah.
Bukak penutup tangki. Bukak screw itu. Masuk air kat tangki,till water flow free of bubbles. Then tutup balik screw itu. Top up air till penuh kat tangki. (buat masa sejuk ya....if boleh tahan panas,jaga jaga sikit tangan tu.)
*dont need close tangki cap yet.

Now start kereta till temp naik till near middle of gauge. Check for buih at tangki. Add water if necessary. After ten mins idle,if temp tak naik,go test drive. If fail lagi, then really kena angkat head liao....(remember tutup cap sebelum drive tu)

btw, why protons easily gasket spoilt?or user tak maintain service service?selalu overheat?
kereta aku dua bijik proton, satu 8 tahun, satu 6+ tahun, tak pernah kacau pun overheating?

ahlong, kalau ada chance, try update sikit gasket cylinder yang ke berapa yang rosak. Kalau tak silap aku, biasanya kereta yang takde thermostat, piston terakhir(4th) yang paling kerap sangat rosak. sebab dia orang cakap terlalu sejuk...

no, i dont agree. The gen2 is not a headache car. Its the owner yang headache.
tak pernah pun dalam sejarah kereta kena headache.

problem, yes. All cars come with problem.FOC! be it a proton, mercedes, lambo, or BMX.
semua ada masalah@problem. So fret no more, get the rm20k ready and vrooom vrooom with us~
