Guys , I would like to ask. I changed my Gen2 1.3 exhaust to 4-2-1 aluminium pipe. And I saw a thread in other forum saying that aluminium will cause some parts in car overheat. But the fella just don't get any reply so I have doubts here. What do I have to take care more since I changed my exhaust to 4-2-1 aluminium ? TQ

1 more question guys. What should I do to take care of my car so that it won't loss that much of horse power after years ? Go for maintenance regularly ( I did )

Do u guys go for engine wash ? Normally cost u how much ? I heard of smth de-carbonize bla bla bla.. The sisa-sisa inside engine after years.. need to wash them out too ?

wowww dunno nowadays aluminium oso got ppl use to make exhaust header/extractor

anyway its stainless steel i guess...just use it...dont hear all those nonsense...if suddenly ur fuel gets worse, go check for crack at the joint...

as long as u keep on maintaining it properly and service it regularly according to schedule then dont worry too much...

btw aku da pi tnya kedai wiring keta td..mmg alternator aku bunyi kuat pon..dia dgr pakai batang besi,skill apa tah..dia kata bole repair bearing alternator tu,dlm seratus lebih..tp takut x tahan lama..better tukar recond nye alternator,harga x lebih 300..tp dia soh pakai dlu smpai lampu check engine nyala..x rosak enjin ke?haha n ok ke harga tu?

aku punya dulu, dia dengar pakai besi jugak. tukar alternator baru. RM7xx masa tu.(campro dalam early age) Balik dengar sama jer. Last last rupa rupanya actuator punya piping clip longgar.

Then aku pun ada repair bearing alternator tu, sudah 3-4 tahun at least. Tak kacau pon......
recond recond punya i tak percaya sangat.senang kong electronic dalam tu..(Regulator cutout namanya)

U may fabricate custom heatshield for the extractor so that other nearby parts receive lesser heat i.e fan motor, tubings etc. can DIY some more..

I believe u meant for engine flush not engine wash right mate? btw, yes engine flush & decarbonize should help.. good products which i have personally tested for these purposes are Lambda Primer & Threebond decarbonizer, they really brought the smoothness back to my engine.. costing should be anywhere near rm90 for both..

You may do it like once per 30000km or so.. for engine oil just dont use recycled or super cheapo unreliable brand mineral oil which tends to form sludge inside your engine.. oil change interval must be strict too i.e every 5000km for semi syn or one per 3 months which ever comes first..

I am no mech or taiko but this is how i maintain my engine since a year++ back, and so far im satisfied with the outcome..

satu lg belting luar tu try pakai yg pendek sket...yg stendet pny size dia mcm loose sket tu sbb kadang2 bunyik...tapi klo x solve gak masalah tu mmg laternator tu kene tuka la..
