Guyz, I was wondering one thing .. normally we are able to hide most of the cables when we are using a closed casing. How about acrylic casing ? Are we able to conduct a good cable management in there ? I came across a few users but then its still like a mess in there huh.gif
Anyone can share some pictures about it ?

Regards,
Hughie

don't even think u can hide a cable in ur acrylic case, cause it can be seen in every corner doh.gif

but hey, let me tell u my idea long time ago... icon_idea.gif

u know those 5" LCD Temp Monitor, they only require little space at the front, leaving lots of space at the back, so what u can do is make a box out of acrylic with a size of two 5" bay drive, paint it black or any other color u like as long it's not transparent any more... smile.gif

tied up all those lose cable into one big fat cacing, hide those cacing in there & place em at 5" bay (make sure those box have screw hole on em)... laugh.gif

u can make a good use for that box instead just plain dumb box by placing those character LCD and temperature sensor bracket in front, like Allngap did icon_rolleyes.gif

@anggajaya
Ya, eventhough we have better UV Lighting to cover the sight of the cables but then yet its still the same .. quite messy. At 1st, I was thinking of getting one acrylic casing but then the current casing I am using also cant really manage that much .. how about an acrylic casing .. sweat.gif

Regards,
Hughie

@E-J@1

HmmM .. ya. I still remember those LCD MOds which was once very popular .. but then that time I didn't manage to get one also as it is quite expensive. Normally I will hide those excessive cables in the storage bay there .. sweat.gif

Hughie

Which cables that u think i should sleeve it ... ??? coz sleeving would be good for the look but it reduce the softness of the cable .. which mean difficult to bent ...

hmm... although it is good but using casing with separated compartment really require skill to hide the cable... it is not as easy as those standard classical edition from Lian Li ..

i think with those case i can even do better ... but for this case .. few cables are unavoidable...

This is the first mod i've ever done; never quite dared to do anything to my case till now. It took an entire afternoon. Still not entirely satisfied with the results though. Comments welcome.

thanks guys, the gigabyte case is very conducive to hiding cables as its really big. its also much easier to cut through aluminium than it is to cut through steel. helps that my PSU comes sleeved already smile.gif had to go all the way down to singapore just to get it; really couldn't be stuffed sleeving everything myself.

the commando mobo is fantastic to work with, all the connectors are at the side of the board itself, not to mention it has 8 fan headers!!!

now i'm busy doing cable management for my computer table rclxub.gif

I really like the job on the fan .... but u really need to improve on the sleeving part .... else it just meaning less to sleeve it ..

but hey ... it is very nice job for girl .... u got all the sticker ready.. placement of CCFL despite it is a bit off... the sticker on the HDD area is nice as well .. but it would be better to use it on black background ...

i also like what u did to the power cables.. really nice and tight ....

she could even do better than some other guys ..... what i mean is to improve on the sleeving skill .. with that she could achieve to another level ..

any discrimination involved ??
