I did chassis and A pillar from icecube. After done the foaming and did one month of testing on the basic foaming result. Car body rolling is a bit lesser than before. Maybe I'm not fast driver and seldom do fast sharp cornering, do not feel the effect is significant. But there is improvement.
When come to bumpy/not even road surface, then you will feel that your car is stiff and bumpy. This is significant and also indicate that the car body is stiff and in better protection. Lastly, the very good thing is less noise when you driving on highway. Wind sound from bottom of the car and a pillar is much lesser than before. This I can tell is true and obvious. Thanks again for the good product and great service from him!! Thank you. Regards, full |

QUOTE(nwuankwo @ Aug 27 2012, 01:14 PM) I've done door sill foam, wheel arch, floor panel, rear boot. I pm you regarding what is your car model and when did you do the foam at my shop , and there is no reply or any other details. Please get back to us so we can know what you mean and improve from there. It's solely base on my personal experience and feelings so please dont ask me to prove anything. I would say bro Kevin is a nice guy. Think he's looking for cheaper alternative for the consumers. But there's saying 'you get what you pay for'. I'm not saying that the product is bad/fake or Kevin is trying to con you. NO! I was well mentioned about the difference between the branded and local made. But somehow, after the application, i have doubts. Of course do feel a difference of the car. But i could not say good or bad. You just can say 'there's difference'. i did go back but things didnt improve. i have to admit i consulted other shops. But let's not compare other's products first. Removing some Kevin's applications improve the situation. It's not because the product is fake/bad. That's my point. He gave me what he said he would give me. No con case here. But might not be right for me. Unless i know it's right, else i think i do have to pay more for the experienced and knowledgable. And... i'm the fussy type... and this could just be an individual case. QUOTE(dyso @ Aug 27 2012, 11:53 PM) Bro PM me full package of high end foam that you have for preve.. Pm-ed you the pricing.QUOTE(heavenly91 @ Sep 19 2012, 10:02 PM) Bro can explain what is the difference between this: Foam is a 2 in one solution which increase chassis rigidity (reduce body flex/roll) and reduce noise (filling up the hollow section and holes). (not my car) » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « And your foam? Why should I do foam vs car floor soundproof. Actually I have been thinking which one to do Sound proof the floor is to reduce noise coming in from the floor panel. By the look of the pics you posted, its going to add ALOT of weight. Floor need more of a insulation and absorption rather then using damping. The way we do sound proof will be light weight but noise is reduced significantly. If done properly, you can rarely feel any weight add-on after doing the floor panel sound proof. If you main concern is on tyres/road noise, then better treat the wheel arch first . We having promotion for STP Mastic @ RM650 currently (while stock last! Retail outside RM1000). So grab it fast! You must be asking what the different between the stick on and the Mastic application. Mastic application is a paint-on sound proof material. It bond better then those using stick-on damping/insulation material which will deteriorate due to heat (from wheel and disc brake). Plus, this material is very good as reviewed by few sound proof shop and end user. If its not good, its not STP. |

Ice Cube bro, I heard people comment of civic fb page, the noise from tyre is loud even for new car. Is your "chasis form" include treatment on the wheel arc as well? Can pm me for best price, location and phone number?

Yes, for civic (or most car model including the merc C class) have loud tyres noise. We have to treat this with sound proofing material mostly and some area with foam. Mainly the door sill with race foam and the wheel arch with STP Mastic and treat the floor panel with rear boot with STP sound proof material. Location is behind Phoenix Plaza,Cheras. You can sms or reach me at 016-6960886. |

Hi, I've done undercarriage and door sill foaming last Saturday on my saga blm. Well, it's after a week now and i think it's time to give my personal comments.
Actually I felt the difference immediately when i drove my car back home. The car feels more stable and less bumpy, especially the rear. The most tremendous change is on the 3rd and 4th day. The car feels very firm, a lot less bumpy on uneven road, more stable during high speed, and much lesser body roll during corners. It is so FANTASTIC!! I never expect the results will be so impressive. Awesome stuff! Thanks Kevin for coming all the way from KL to Penang to do us a favor. Kevin is a nice guy, happy to share and always listen to our problems. Kevin, my next target is to reduce the road noise. Will plan to go KL. See ya! |
