Hi, how much would it cost for Saga BLM for significant noise reduction (what is the different to regular chassis foam - material used). With the significant noise reduction from the fender formula, do I need further sound proofing i.e. rubber to doors?
*
It would be RM300 for SAGA BLM chassis foam. If want more noise reduction from the front ,for SAGA BLM, you can add on the A pillar foaming for extra RM100 only.

The Fender formula helps in reducing traction noise from tires and road. It reduce significantly for the road /tires noise from entering the cabin.

Other noise like from the outside of the car, (eg.lorry or motorbike passing by) can be eliminate by sound proofing the doors. But before that, you have to sound proof the rear boot first with proper 3 different material to eliminate the "surround" noise coming from the rear.

How do you sound proof the rear boot? What are three different materials you mentioned? Do you also provide such service?
*
We sound proof with STP material. 3 Layer is a mixture of STP material such as damping, insulating and absorbing material.

Yes, we provide the service.

QUOTE(piumiu @ Jan 14 2012, 12:35 PM)
Does this crack later on and produce sound after a while due to crack foam vibrates inside the undercarriage.
*
It does not crack, its expand to fill up the gap inside, closed cell so it wouldn't crack unless you purposely go and chop it up or something.

QUOTE(ryanethaniankee @ Feb 1 2012, 07:31 PM)
Read about Kevin's Revo oil treatment and decided to get 2. Went to his shop and instead getting the Revo oil treatment plus the under carriage chassis foam (since the price is quite reasonable).

I then drove home without having too high expectation.

On the way home, i could feel that the car suspension is somewhat harder and  the car is more stable.
What really impressed me was, the road noise, exhaust noise and even tire noise, is significantly reduced !  thumbup.gif
Really happy with the improvement, and at the same time unhappy as now the car internal cabin noise can be heard clearly !  sad.gif

Will test it for awhile and later fix an appointment for the fender soundproof...

P.S. Also thanks Kevin for his good service for spending time to fix my car door vibration sound (foc) and hopefully it works...

thumbup.gif

Thanks bro for the review. Did quite alot of Forte so we basically know what improvement you will get. biggrin.gif
Rgarding the car internal cabin noise, we can fix that too. biggrin.gif

QUOTE(blackespresso @ Feb 1 2012, 07:45 PM)
PM me for Saga BLM, how long are you offering the promotion price? Also, which parts will be filled with chassis foam?
*
The foam is injected to the main structure beams under the car. On the Center plus rear.
Promo while stock last! sms 016-6960886 to appointment.

Hi Kevin,
my nissan sylphy have some irritating cabing noise, particularly from the central console where it cannot be solved by the SC.
Do you think you will be able to solve this?

anyway, does the under carriage chassis foam help to improve the NVH of the sylphy? i think the stock setup on the sylphy is consider quite good already.

rgds,
*
Yea, we can solve the central console noise just need time to do it.

drop by and let me test drive on your sylphy before recommending the part to be foam.

just got back from Kevin's place... did the chasis foaming and fender area soundproofing for my toyota wish... i can feel that the tyre's noise reduced a lot.. i'll definitely go back to Kevin for pillar A,B, C foaming...

regarding the chasis foam, will give a review after 3 days...  the fender formula really works.. my old tyres (made in 2007) doesn't sound that noisy any more...

thanks IceCube... good workmanship... friendly person...

ooh... 1 negative feedback... Kevin should change to wired credit card reader.. you guys should see how he tried getting wireless reception outside his shop.. really funny laa.. hehehe..
*
Thanks for the review bro. biggrin.gif Hope to see ya soon for the ultimate package. biggrin.gif Spread the news for me to your car club ya~
QUOTE(NOX @ Feb 12 2012, 09:43 AM)
so many positive feedback. hoping to get my car done later. drop me a pm. driving a savvy here.
*
Savvy will see very significant improvement due to the original chassis size is the same size as a sedan BLM.
Will significantly reduce road/wind noise and also better traction and lesser body flex thus improving on the handling.

See you soon bro,.
