regarding co2 hose..some claim hose explode..under what circumstances it happens ? excessive working pressure from the regulator can cause this ?

some shop told me normal silicon hose is not recommended.. plastic ones is ok.

same goes for check valve..cheap ones not reliable... any idea how much a plastic ADA check valve cost ?
*
there are few articles online on DIY 4dkh solution, try google it
hmmm.. u can buy cal-aqua co2 indicator liquid without the glassware smile.gif no need to add anything, just use and keep it fridge .. hehee
or as per weijie earlier, test ur solution whether they react to co2 or not, some might expired d or turned bad after shop keep them for too long

yes, dun use normal sillicon hose, u dun wanna try that, its damn loud tongue.gif i kena one time b4
so get proper tubing example pu material, and if u using atomizer, get better one, as atomizer need working pressure above 30psi
for check valve, try see u can find stainless steel one or not, or some brand got double check valve in one piece

Get a high pressure resistance silicon hose, if you cant find it at your place, i am selling Rm1.80 per feet.

ADA check valve is Rm18 if i not mistaken. IMHO, check valve doesnt really matters, important part is the silicon hose.

I had one client misplace the check valve previously. He actually put it inverse. Then he opened the power in solenoid, since no bubbles in bubble counter, then he turn the valve until maximum. Even that the check valve never explode =.=. By the way, he is using normal check valve i get from LFS, only Rm2.

Of course i used before then only dare to recommend it.
i every 2days dose once, total 3treatments then all algae gone.

I got sooooooooo many cherry inside the tank before i use it.
Now, i got even more !
You need to read and follow the instruction manual before use. then no worries about your livestock.
This medic no need black out. Just that the water will be a bit cloudy after use.
you can consult with the seller before purchase smile.gif

things to do if you wanted to know what kind of wood to used as driftwood...

1- place the selected wood in water...
2- wait for 15 min...
3- if your wood drift in water... than that's a DRIFTWOOD... tongue.gif

just joking...

ok...ok...ok...
joke aside...

yes you can used "kayu bakau" as driftwood...
infect there are many kinds of wood that were sold as deco wood...
I have used Jati... rambutan branch... big pic of charcoal... unnamed wood from the forest...
as long as you soak the wood in water for a few days...
better still boil the wood first...
