how big is your hang on back filter? how many liter per hour?
glosso, hc and hairgrass all needed co2 and high light. 30w maybe enough.
What soil you using? got put 5elements in bottom?

Better to get a proper rack from fish shop.
Those measurements and weight is based on ESTIMATION.
Dont take the risk unless you really know what you are doing.

Do not put ghost shrimps into your tank. it will slowly hunt down your guppies and other shrimps.

Although my cherry shrimp army also killed all guppies lah rclxub.gif sad.gif

No particular reason. Because my tank is custom made. I don't wish to put water till so high now. So I reverse the outflow pipes. Haha.

hi ageh84,
Do you have shrimps other than yamato in your tank now?
if not then you can go get mini puffer. it is very good to fight snails. After all snails is killed, you can give it to someone else or release it.

I brought my assasin snail from NA SS19 few months ago. not sure if they still have stocks. Each pcs Rm6

loon:
Actually puffers is abundant at "Muara Sungai", the point where sea water and fresh water meet. I can catch 10 puffers (as big as your fist) in few hours when fishing with my dad near kuantan. haha
Do not release it into lake or pond. IMHO.

z8net:
i tried remove them by manually. but it seems quite impossible to get rid of whole population because they reproduce really fast. I also try to use ISTA snail trap to catch them but the bait finish by my cherry before snails get notice.
Best way is to get assassin snails or puffer.

Oh if you want to remove it manually, get a air tube (normal sold by fish shop), use it to suck the water and snails out. Much more easier than remove them using tweezer or hand. i currently using this method to suck all the baby snails that being ignored by assassin snails << 大鸡不食小米 sweat.gif .

Wow! how much you buying it?

surfsmurf:
Some say yes, some say no.
IMHO, Copper is dangerous for shrimps. i had seen some example inject aquarium with few drops algae remover that contains copper, then their shrimps start dying one by one.
Excel only contains 0.0001%. so i dont think it will give much impact during beginning, but continuous or overdose sure will give bad effects.
