lol calvin. u defend like a tank in that hybrid "Latifah" topic.
i also just finish that topic...salute you so much...hahaha but new thing really hard for ppl to accept. a lot ppl around me also comment a lot when i decide want to get insight, almost the same comment from that topic.
sometime beh tahan i tell them, i hope gov remove the petrol subsidy n let the petrol go up RM3 per liter, then we see who save more later.
off topic, i order my Permanon liao...still waiting the supplier to sent it to me...

if me i also will opt for 1.5...hahaha no doubt in city 1.3 is more than enough but during highway cruising 1.3 really not enough i always ask myself when want to overtake a car that around 100kmh, shoud i or leave it...because in case during overtake time the car pick up n dont let u overtake then very pai seh situation will happen...
unless u are trying to overtake a 90 - 120 kmh car?
yeah...at highway mah... personally i try up to 170kmh, i would say acceleration after 140kmh is quite slow even with econ mode off. rpm at very high region but the car feel no move
but good thing is i seldom drive at highway and high speed travel also not my aim, i just tell some fact n figure
up to date, no complain on my ride except one thing very annoying n not sure u all face it or not. the car at outside is too quiet...sometime got ppl walking in front (example near parking area, pasar malam...ect), they didnt notice there is car behind. want to horn them but worry they get shock even though the stock horn is so soft
tarak complain...just feel dont know want to horn or dont want to horn...scare ppl get heart attack... but yeah...they get shock when know there is car behind them
I need some input... Seriously, how much can Insight save? I've got a Myvi, am going to be done with the loan in 12 months' time. Am still pay RM500 per month for it. Should I sell it, and get an Insight? How much can I save? If I was to trade in my Myvi, and get an Insight, I'm probably paying RM1k per month to the bank. Petrol usage will drop, but is it worth it? I like my Myvi's back seat, and even the boot space when seats are folded.
Any input? Please?
keep your myvi and be loan free...you will so happy to see that every month u have extra 500 in ur pocket. in term of spacing for both car, i will vote for myvi petrol saving when u switch from myvi to insight, i guess u wont save much
My SC also give tint as well but with condition that I must use their dealer winguard. So I also assure 6k for my windows. now only want or don't want to claim for that tiny of stone chip

Breakdown like: Labour 112 Semi sync 110 Gear oil 110 Air filter 110
And other small items..
I think I'll need to cry every 20k service LOL..
Air filter 110 x 3 times can buy an almost lifetime warranty K&N filter gear oil i think better let the SC do in case anything wrong happen to the gearbox they have no reason to blame us.
contact this person permanon.my@gmail.com he do posting with pos laju i get mine from him as well.
the result ok la...at least after 1 week the car still look "just" wash. but u dont expect it to be like no need to wash kind..then u will dissapointed.
Do you think it's a good buy and value for Honda Insight 2011 if my mileage is mostly around 1000 to 1200 km and mostly for 95% city and 5% Highway ?
My budget is less than 100k...and Honda Insight is still within my budget or should i get Hyundai Elantra 2011 or Kia Forte 1.6sx both costs a few thousand less than Honda Insight ?
Is the maintenance high for Honda Insight cars ?
Thanks for the advise....
If size does not matter,I think fiesta also is a good choice. It also come with foc maintenance for 60k km. for me the maintenance of insight is high.
last time the civic hybrid air con also can work during engine stop...heard that the compressor was driven by electric. but maybe want to cut cost, this was taken away for inisight model and we get hot air during engine idle
