Is anyone else here rather underwhelmed by the audio performance on the SGS2? Having come from the iPhone, the audio quality on this phone is significantly worse. The only workarounds seem to be using PowerAmp, which is a paid app. Can't get that, at least not yet. Anyone got any other tips for better audio quality?

QUOTE(r47z @ Sep 1 2011, 12:52 PM) hmmm sgs2 have better audio quality over iPhone thats for sure. check your source quality. else run on flac. This graph would beg to differ: http://st.gsmarena.com/vv/reviewsimg/samsu...marena_a001.pngAs you can see, while the line-out frequency response is stellar, any added resistance sends the response graph all over the place. There's a lot of other details to it, but I won't bore you with them. Basically, with headphones plugged in, the iPhone has much better audio quality than the S2.

QUOTE(xDarkKnightx @ Sep 1 2011, 01:48 PM) Reason why I have a headphone amp Compared to the SGS, the quality on the SGS2 is really bad. Sadly, I'm rather unwilling to lug an amp around with me, however small it might be. I like all-in-one devices. Ah well, since this S2 is awesome in pretty much every other department anyway, I guess I can live with the below average sound quality.
