come on la...i wont say all ppl had read the introduction in page 1...
but most of them will do.like me...
for u may see as very simple and basic question,
but for ppl who never pet a hedgie before, its very tough to imagine anything until they got one for themselves  smile.gif

one more thing is not about lucky,i do read all the introduction and decided to pet a hedgie rather than a suggie due to the complexity involved

Watch out bro, too skinny ur baby. Try to feed him mealworm or superworm to boost him up a bit or the better way is to bring to vet.

Mmkay. I'll feed him mealworms everyday for several days. And see the outcome 1st. But afraid if so many mealworms given then hell not eat the kibbles.
*
Okay make sure u gutload the mealworm 1st b4 feed them to ur hedgie. I mean not to feed only mealworm everyday, I can assure that they wil stick to only mealworm if u feed everyday shakehead.gif

Gutload? Means? Lol srry. Ill mix mealworm and kibbles in his dishbowl.
*
Gutload means "feed the mealworm b4 feed it to ur hedgie" biggrin.gif . Normally when v buy those mealworm from petshop, those worm will looks very skinny. So just put a slice of bread or fruit for the mealworm to eat for a day or two. Then only u feed them it ur hedgie.

If u mix mealworm and kibbles then i'm sure ur hedgie will eat all mealworm and left the kibble untouch

Superworm, mealworm and cricket are okay and safe for hedgie. Dun worry just go ahead and feed him. U dun hav to remove the superworm's head, just feed as whole

teach me how to train my Leo playing dead  biggrin.gif oh chinti is in US, thats y i told him to grab a few special color back to malaysia  biggrin.gif
*
Hehe, u need to pay me $$$ for training fees leh brows.gif . Just kidding lah. Okay no secret here, 1st the hedgie must be "super tame" and well bond with u. This female hedgie is very super tame, she never huff or poke me b4. Then u flip her over, of course she will struggle to flip back. Hold her gently, rub and massage her on the tummy and the "throat / neck" part. If u ever own a cat or dog then u should know how enjoy they are when being massage on the "throat / neck" part. Slowly she will be like fall to sleep.

Oh chinti is in US... damn tedious procedure to import pet into malaysia lah, if can get the platinum color then that will be cool brows.gif But last time I've seen the price in web about $1K+ dollar. sweat.gif

hehehe, yakah? thought oni 200 plus plus dollar there  drool.gif if can grab reversed pinto  wub.gif  wub.gif icicic. i wanna a female like urs also, but if i bond wif her since small then she will be as tame as urs....no still huffy  blush.gif
*
200++ dollar I also wan lah, veli expensive leh. Well it's true that if bond since small then easier to tame, if u get the adult one then hav to be extra patient and time to bond & tame with u. That's why I'm letting go the hoglets once they weaned at about 2 months age.

Not so geng but I almost want to page down and type 'condolences' lor.

Damn I also wanna go bond more with cottie redi.
When petting hedgies, do y'all pet their quills often?
Or like Nethelp says, turn them over and rub gently?
*
Haha no need to play with them like 2 hours but more importantly is that play with them everyday, half an hour daily will be enuf. Frequency is more important than how long u play with them. Let's say today u play with them for 2 hours and leave him for 3 days untouch then it's not gonna work to bond them.

Most of the hedgie will roll into the ball when u flip them over, that's normal.

i wanna get hedgehog from u also~ after 3 years~
*
Haha, okay. It's kinda tedious to own a pet in US as some state banned it, and most of them need cert and cert for breeder. M'sia luckily enuf not that strict. Sugar glider will require license soon doh.gif , hope this won't extend to hedgie, or else I would rclxub.gif . Touch wood touch wood

All hedgies come with...
IHA Registration
Life Time Hedgehog Support
Life Time  Warranty Against WHS (see health quarantee)
Cuddle Pouch
Baggy of Food
Birth Certificate
Mini Rice Bag (during winter months)
Printed Pedigrees
*
I see... for the lifetime support, as for me, even I help to answer those pre-owner who isn't purchase from me. Few months ago I answer an emergency phonecall at 2am from my buyer, but that's small case. Just the "lifetime" the word feel so heavy haha! So far I'm very lucky coz most of my buyers are actually quite concerning on hedgie.

For WHS, damn, 1st time when I got my pair from petshop, my female I suspect die from WHS as the symptom quite similar to it.

wat is WHS? never buy from petshop, very dangerous....well, i have decided my first hedgehog gonna be from u if u still selling after 3years~ i lik the snowflakes S&P~
*
Wobbly Hedgehog Syndrome. WHS.

Normally 1st timer will get from petshop as it's the most easy and direct source and I never know LYN website b4 I purchase.

I still remember those symptom, 1st hedgie walking like drunken, always fall to the side (u can youtube to see those pity hedgie who with WHS), then few day later hedgie totally can't stand and can't curl into a ball probably due to lose control of their muscle. Then getting thin very obviously as the hedgie can't even consume any food. And lastly die of starvation.

Haha, hedgie suit me well so I'll still keep rearing them so u still can get me after 3 years haha.
