Any tips for a beginner trying to learn FADC?

Foxisquick put together an informal interview with Brokentier's Latif. In it, he talks about Viper's worst matchups and his runback against Fuudo after EVO 2011 was over. A piece of the interview is below, but you can catch the rest on his blog.

Foxisquick: What matchup were you most worried about coming into Evo?

Latif: Yang and Fei.

Foxisquick: Does Viper just not like long normals with rekkas or something? Why is Yang worse then Yun?

Latif: All he needs to do is low short, she cannot do anything against that lol. Yang’s blockstrings are really strict against Viper, everything for Yang works against Viper... it won't work anymore in AE2012 tho, because they made Yang's cr.lk hitbox bigger now. So he won’t be able to go under DPs or [Burning Kicks]. Also Yun’s pressure isn’t as solid as Yang's. That’s why Viper has less trouble vs him.

Foxisquick: In the [EVO 2011] after party you did a bunch of money matches and had a killer set vs Fuudo. This went far better then in the actual tournament, did you learn some new stuff?

Latif: Well when I played Fuudo in quarter finals, I lost because I didn't respect his wake up which was a mistake. I had him a few times but I lost mainly because of that. And in finals I was too hyped and got overexcited that I didn't overthink the match or come with a better strategy before I played him, I should have taken a breather and took a break before [Grand Finals] and remember what I did wrong and what I should do instead to win that match.

It's really funny when I play ssf4ae yesterday on my pc, I think there is too many kid running around and cursing you on the mic when they lose a game.

how to use mic? 

I not using it on pc, but I heard those kid cursing my whole family lol.. I think it's just plug and play. The voice came out from my speaker very laugh with "ccb" lol

hmm i was figuring out how to use mic in gfwl.

I think gfwl will auto detect your mic. Sometimes I can hear them mashing over their mic and I get double sounds it's really annoying ._.

not sure bout you guys, there's one time the opponent use mic + alot of noise distortion, like zhaaa zhaa zaaa.. too noisy until i lost focus on the match.. i'll normally mute them just in case..
