This is the basic answer to your questions.
It would take 2 long pages to fully explain each of them. Tech Hits, also known as Counter Throws, can actually be utilized to nullify your opponent's Throw attempt if you react to their Throw attempts quickly enough. If an opponent tries to Throw you and you enter in the Throw code yourself, you will end up "Teching" their Throw and the two characters will slide apart from each other with a circular light effect flashing between them. Footsies, for me it means, fighting on the ground. You need to understand your opponent's pokes very well and compare it to your own. You need to know which of your basic/special moves hits faster, able whiff or have longest range of pokes. Hence, the "dance" between two players starts. |

You mean this , deimos ?
• As requested by users, we've added support for the following render resolutions: 640x480 720x480 720x576 1280x1024 • Support added for a wider range of arcade sticks Many arcade sticks that previously would not be recognized should now be recognized (again, no guarantees your exact stick/pad is covered but there's a lot more natively supported than before). • Fixed a bug that caused just the stick inputs (left / right / up / down) to not be recognized • Fixed a bug that could sometimes cause extra lag/slowdowns in Endless Battle mode • Fixed a bug with the controller mappings not always saving, especially when adding / removing controllers • Fixed a bug that would allow players to go online with incorrect benchmark scores, which could affect match making |

QUOTE(hahli9 @ Sep 3 2011, 07:38 PM) The trials are there for the challenge. Like doing 4 LPs in a row is just stupid in a real match. Just learn how to hit confirm, FADC and play footsies with your character and you'll do good. minus the FADC, replace it with ultra combo ( if the char have it )So it's just footsies, hit confirm and ultra combo With that, you can go far |

QUOTE(Agito666 @ Sep 6 2011, 11:09 AM) i wonder if blanka ultra or super, at the moment he jump/ float in midair, if i use ultra 2 of hakan... will he damage me or i grab him? Yes, your hakan ultra2 can grab blanka when his rainbow roll lands on top of you. Maxster have done it to my blanka b 4.Surprisingly hakan can deal with blanka pretty well. Just like bison/balrog/honda, hakan can punish blanka's roll ( using oil slide ) Some facts about Blanka's Ultra 1: 1) After the starting ultra animation ends ( especially, when the roll reaches to the max height ), blanka becomes vulnerable. You can treat blanka's roll as a normal roll at this point. Just make sure your attack have a bit of range and "hide" your "hurtbox" away from his electricity. Example, guile can c.hp blanka's roll. ( How to do it ? Block down if blanka starts his ultra too near you, as it rolls up, you crouch hard punch and it will hit blanka on his max height of his rainbow roll ) 2) Most of the ppl don't really understand how blanka's ultra 1's hitbox works. That's what blanka pros take advantage of that. Let's me explain the basic of blanka ultra 1's setup first. If blanka start's his ultra near you, his initial electical blow will hurt you, block down After his electrical burst, he will do a rainbow roll. If any of the rainbow roll going to touch you, block up. When the rainbow roll finishes and start to roll of the floor, block down. During SF4 vanilla time, blanka player have a habit of starting their ultra after a knockdown , near his opponent. Pro blanka player would know how to time it well. Knockdown the opponent, walk near, ultra. ( You have to do it very fast ) The tricky part is that how do you know where his rainbow roll lands ? in front/top/behind you ? If you get hurt by his rainbow roll, you will get a knockdown again ( coz his initial electric blow will knockdown you too ). The safe guideline on how to gauge his landing rainbow roll is to look at his initial electrical blow. If blanka "stepping" on your foot, it would be a crossup ultra. ( Credit goes to Air's Ryu, korean ryu master, for his findings ) I believe most of the vanilla blanka have drop or use it less of this tactic after the opponent knows how to block. If you can block blanka's ultra 1, you can punish him back with your own ultra. If any new blanka players tries this ultra cross up, you know what to do. Good luck ! xD p/s: I'm not that bad one lar. I give back a bit tips to blanka players too. Try to look at blanka trials. You can find blanka's ultra combo. Try that instead Don't do the "doggy crying over the master's death" tactic ^^!! Don't always try your luck, try confirm hits ! This post has been edited by SemiSweet: Sep 7 2011, 02:16 AM |

QUOTE(Deimos Tel`Arin @ Sep 7 2011, 04:29 PM) hakan no upper cut but he got oil combination hold right? down down down + KKK Nop, when hakan is oil up. It's almost as long as gief's lp spd.also, charge focus attack when u see ppl jumping in with a single hit attack and then release immediately then do down x3 + KKK try that. hmmm yeah ke thawk hands longer than hakkan? hmmm true also. thawk quite tall. but i think gief's lp spd range is longer. thawk health only 10% higher than blanka mar. yar when playing endless i prefer 1 on 1. then 2 ppl can play non stop. XD if not then 1 on 1, while the other watches can also. Hakan's range for ea spd is the same. So for me, i will use hard hand to spd when hakan is oil up. Quite nice to play using hakan. Can't wait for him to be buffed up in the next balance patch @Max, Yes, max kor kor. You always right *peace sign* |

Going back to Ryu for a while. Have not been in "training" mode so long.
My basics is getting rusty. I usually use Ryu to train that coz i can't mix up much with Gief. ( Ppl just try to avoid me all the time ^^! ) Time to try to improve my quater circle movement again Really grateful that most of the ppl here willing to play in my endless room all the time. Thanks guys |

Ok like this example:
Ryu's mp mp links. A mp has +5 frame advantage on hit. Light punch SRK have 1~2f invincible at start up Medium punch SRK have 1~5f invincible at start up Hard punch SRK have 1~2f invincible at start up EX SRK have 1~16f invincible at start up ( yes, me no shi- you ) You think it's safe to mash medium punch SRK ? Both also +5 Or wait a minute, +5 frame advantage on hit means i'm still doing my recovery for ryu's first mp ? Anyone ? This post has been edited by SemiSweet: Sep 13 2011, 11:36 PM |

So means can not mash DP to links lor
err .... right ? Coz i'm sure that's why it's called links. Coz they have frame advantage to do one hit after another hit mar. Just that we make sure they don't drop their links ( coz it might be a few frame late ), our DPs will appear lo. Dayum, sry for the trouble. Guess suddenly mah buhrain iz not warking vell thez dayz. I think i just answered my own questions .... zzzzz |

QUOTE(bazlit @ Sep 18 2011, 09:29 PM) Was trying to swap the artwork on my hrap3 with a custom one I bought from kianweic today. Everything was going well. Unscrewed everything, took out the buttons and joystick, ripped out the old artwork etc. Wah, can't view any of the pic leh broThen I took out the new artwork I bought, and tried to align the thing to the metal plate and well ... just take a look. ![]() This is when I tried aligning the sticker to the start / select button hole. ![]() This is aligned to the joystick hole. ![]() This is when I tried aligning it to the buttons hole. It does not line up! So f**king pissed off right now. All that effort goes to waste. Oh well, I think I'll just buy some of that carbon fibre sticker and stick that on there. Or does anyone have a better idea? But i feel your pain, my plexi glass case also almost the same T.T Carbon fiber plan is fine. I'm planning to do another one using a nice laptop sticker ^^!!
