Thanks for the long explanation.
Looks like in current environment it may be advantage to get an EPEC, due to a lot of incidents (as posted in this thread) where companies/applicant have issues getting their EP. So getting an EPEC would give such comfort, though not guarantee.
I dun think the long term visiting ability would be much of an advantage, cos most ppl will not incur huge expenses to stay here, while waiting for job replies. Johor will be much cheaper. Heck, even ppl working in SG, likes to stay in Johor and become a JB king too.

We are unable to process your e-appointment request today. You have either enter an invalid combination of FIN and DOA; or the foreigner's pass has just been approved or issued. Please make the e-appointment request from the next working day from 8am onwards. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Also one of the SPR forms require you to get acknowledgement or somekinda endorsement from your current employer. Anyone face any issues with this before. Coz some employers might be reluctant since they have to pay additional CPF contribution , etc.

HR will be happy to do it for u, the form not asking anything confidential
the employers dun really care, is the co money anyway brows.gif

QUOTE(ryoryo @ Aug 26 2011, 01:21 PM)
Guys, I am in deep trouble. This is my first time working in Singapore and I am quite discouraged to learn that my company's management is not what I have expected. I was tipped off (I got to know from the staff who is leaving and that is when after I have signed the in-principle permit) that this company isn't good but during the interview they impressed me so much with their potential and plans. Plus it is an international brand.

I need advise on how to resign. I am just afraid that I wont be able to get another working permit from a new company or MOM due to my early resignation. I am going to start work this saturday and was thinking of leaving within the 3 months probations. And let say if they terminate me will that affect me if I find job again? Will the new company knows? Or should I just tell them and will they believe me? Gosh ....what a luck these days~

Please help me. I need guidance and advice badly now.

There are actually 2 way to get both Singapore and Malaysia licence valid at the same time.

1. Pay RM300 to the runner, ask him to settle for you.
2. After convert Singapore licence, go LTA/TP get the similar extract, go back JPJ say want to cancel Singapore licence, the JPJ officer will cut your Singapore licence into half, and issue you a new Malaysia driving licence. Then go back to LTA/TP to get the new Singapore licence, pay SGD50 I think.
*
which method u use ? seems to be option 2 is cheaper
i think jpj shah alam is kampung enough

Look at the size of most of them and you will doubt they can even give chase after a suspect.

they usually just let the suspect go, so crime is always there, and their rice bowl remain intact cool2.gif
