true.. Detolf still can allow dust seep in one.. BUT i tink the detolf is one of the more popular cabinet for model collectors due to low price and functionality. mine's the bigger one, "Klingsbo", 2 of it..

http://www.ikeafans.com/galleries/index.php?n=13523

Unfortunately, cant take any pics for u.. sad.gif

Added on August 26, 2011, 2:18 amIf u ask me,

Detolf:

per rack - 2models (3 if you don't mind them being literally side by side)
No. of rack - 4 glass level panels supplied with it
Security lock: No
Spotlight: Possible

Price - SGD99 (i'm in singapore.. smile.gif )

Klingsbo:

Per rack - 3 models (4 if you don't mind them being literally side by side)
No. of rack - 5 glass level panels supplied with it + 1 open space rack at bottom to put things (i manage to keep 4 HW elite box below)
Security lock - Yes
Spotlight: Possible

Price: SGD149.90

that's y i buy klingsbo.. Coz detolf can put around 8-12 models but my klingsbo, with additional tamiya cans to stack up more models per level, i can easily squeeze in 25models per cabinet..

I think detolf is kinda limited interms of space but I've seen alot of forums showing how to add extra shelfs with items you can get from DIY shop. They can easily fit up to 8 shelfs with 2 models per shelf.

But I chose it over Klingsbo is because I don't like the Klingsbo design and also the detolf is actually good for "centerpiece" display. I have Billy to do the job of stacking the models. lol.
