Actually i went to many fairs as well, at first almost wanna confirm quite many stuff but luckily i didnt. For tiles, i got cheaper offer at super ceramic. While furnitures are also not cheap in fairs. Unfortunately, my wife paid some deposit for hood and hob in GE Mall during fair, that is the only thing we got expensive. Bathroom stuff i got it all from zheilwane, good price and service. Kitchen cabinet got it from erny, not the best price but definitely the best service and very professional

Been to few times for survey, but did not purchase from any exhibiiton. As I realise price is not as competitive, and I hate seller keep on pressuring u to give deposit. This give me me bad perception and some unreliable dealer that wish to find quick money @ booth and may disappear for business.

Already moved in abt 2 month, still got some pending stuff to buy. Waiting for durian runtuh promotions..hehe

Oh ya..thank you for posting on Feruni tiles. I saw that too..but i wanted 1X2 tiles. Kind of disappointed coz NO PROMOTION LE..

Grills I did ask.. there is one exhibitor with wrought iron at RM48 psft. And another exhibitor with wrought iron at about RM20 psft. So much difference..looks the same to me..

kamion, which cabinet company you asked for quotation ya... I wanna share share...TOO MANY, i can't interview them all. And yes, quartz was the offer item le in this time perfect living.. But quartz the cheaper ones does not look so modern..

I will say their pricing is quite competitive given the service and product they delivered. You can check their work from their fb. smile.gif

All these fairs and exhibitions
I've been to 4 - 6 fairs (including the past Perfect living) the past year.

If you are a newbie:-
Go and look see looks see and understand what is available.
You can usually get the same or better price later if you hunt around after the exhibition.
Do not get caught up in the hype.  nod.gif

If you are a veteran (already know what you want and where to get it elsewhere and at what price):-
Go at the last day and try your luck then. You have nothing to lose.  tongue.gif

I agree.. these fairs are good for viewing a number of things/ products under one roof but prices are not really cheap.
What you can get is a fair/ general idea of what you can buy or a benchmark of prices.

If you're paying a deposit to "lock-down the exhibition fair price", please make sure you give the least amount, like RM 50-100 and be prepared to forfeit that, in the event you do get better prices elsewhere.

Good luck! tongue.gif

I put down some money for the Feruni tiles. They were giving 10% value of the deposit back as Jusco vouchers. Quite good value! smile.gif Can't afford marble tiles for my living room, as I'm running out of budget getting nearer the end. laugh.gif Unfortunately, the Feruni tile I was after is out of stock at the moment. Apparently they're getting more stock mid-Sept, which might work out *just* nice for me as living room floor should be the last piece of work done.

i got my tiles 2 weeks ago in USJ20...couldnt or more like didnt thought of waiting for fair >_<

yea adele, i got my blinds...got a couple of RM99 4ft blinds...great deal!! spent over RM2k at baagus xD

i calculated, if i customised all my curtains outside (using lousier quality cloth for roman blinds), all would've costed me RM2k more than what i got from baagus.

i also got my bi-fold doors from Onitek. save RM80 compared to normal price. some toilet accesories as well...really cheap i'd say smile.gif

overall managed to redeem the 12pc cuppocino cup set happy.gif

Just went to Perfect Livin today (last day).
The same thing as the last perfect Living.
Even most of the exhibitors location are more or less the same.
I think there was less companies exhibiting this round.
Most prices are so-so only. cool2.gif

What caught my attention was some window grille suppliers from Sg. Buluh giving good quote - RM15/sq feet for WI window grille and a laminated floor board supplier giving RM3.80/sq feet including installation. drool.gif

Feruni Tiles are offering 30%, Up 5% from previous offer biggrin.gif

But still I didn't get anything tongue.gif

For Sanitaryware & Kitchen Accessories , if you want a short cut to a good deal , just look for zheilwane @ Builders Hardware Enterprise rclxms.gif

Has a talk with of my mattress supplier, it seems that Home Dec stalls are sold out (at least on the mattress part). It seems that Home Dec organizer limit the booth available. So hot ah ?
Hmmmmm..... interesting but too late for me sad.gif

As a client to 3kim, i believe their service is worth for the price we pay. However, their price is reasonable to me. All said, they have the commitment and good follow up for their client service. Not a pushy type and wiling to recommend ideas to help client to save penny. As my house reno assigned 6 contractors and off course there will be job clash with delay of their(3kim) works, but they did not show angry face to me, however i feel bad for it, and i give thumbs up to them. So im glad to write them a referral for 3kim.
