Oh ya..thank you for posting on Feruni tiles. I saw that too..but i wanted 1X2 tiles. Kind of disappointed coz NO PROMOTION LE..

Grills I did ask.. there is one exhibitor with wrought iron at RM48 psft. And another exhibitor with wrought iron at about RM20 psft. So much difference..looks the same to me..

kamion, which cabinet company you asked for quotation ya... I wanna share share...TOO MANY, i can't interview them all. And yes, quartz was the offer item le in this time perfect living.. But quartz the cheaper ones does not look so modern..

Serofax, i saw baagus curtain promo. Really like the printed design!  wub.gif

Is the price OK ..promotion for 10' sliding door at RM589..or something. Then roman blind is 2 panel window for RM99.

Coz i havent survey curtains yet..so i'm not sure. Hope to get advise on it..
*
i have surveyed too many curtain shops... i actually bought my curtain for sliding doors at the last fair in midvalley. for a 10' curtain + sheers...approx RM900, quite a good deal for the quality im getting.

havent got my blinds for my other windows... due to budget constraints, i've also decided to get baagus's ready made blinds. the material they use on roman blinds, sometimes are of the curtain materials. so its good quality stuff smile.gif

Sorry don't have any info on the 2 company.

I advice to avoid legend because my colleague KC till now still not fully fix (3 months now). Workman ship is bad, first installation was so lousy and got to dismantle and redo.

I have quotes from SCI, in-cube kitchen, Heyer, D Format, Rowenta.

Haven't properly analysed yet, but I think D Format was quite expensive......... so was in-cube. Maybe because they're selling "Blum" soft-close system? Blum drawer soft close itself was like RM650 or RM750.

Yup, Perfect Living's price is not as good as Homedec KLCC as most of the big dealers will only exhibit in homedec. No nd to rush as there will be another homedec in Oct
http://www.homedec.com.my/

If u have done ur homework and feel the price in perfect living is cheap, no harm paying some deposit. Don blindly buy when u c there are PROMOTIONS or PACKAGES, usually if u buy from normal shops and get the items individually, it might b cheaper.

Hmmm with the share market crashing today. maybe the full effect will be seen on Homedec in October. All throw price drool.gif
Too bad I can't wait till then. sad.gif

Actually i went to many fairs as well, at first almost wanna confirm quite many stuff but luckily i didnt. For tiles, i got cheaper offer at super ceramic. While furnitures are also not cheap in fairs. Unfortunately, my wife paid some deposit for hood and hob in GE Mall during fair, that is the only thing we got expensive. Bathroom stuff i got it all from zheilwane, good price and service. Kitchen cabinet got it from erny, not the best price but definitely the best service and very professional

kamion, really? I got quote from dformat and rowenta but rowenta is more about 3k than what i got from dformat. The soft close clips is RM10 for one sales person told me...so can't be because of the blum soft close gua? but this price is not for drawer only for door.

Actually, now taking a closer look, the price between the two is almost the same (I had extra cabinet lighting in the D Format quote), but the Blum drawer soft close D Format charging RM715, whereas the drawer itself RM582. I thought it was a bit expensive! But, at the same price, Rowenta giving my quartz surface, and D Format only LG solid surface.

Adele, you mean the soft close for swing door? That's cheap. The first kc I went told me it's rm30 while another quote rm25. Both are blum.

Maybe I should go and check out the curtains too this weekend.

Hey, i don't understand. My quotation is counted in lumpsum for cabinets. How come urs u know how much drawer cost one from dformat? Theirs are custom made cabinets not modular forms right? I know Rowenta one is modular so is counted per cabinet and per drawer.

My quote from dformat and rowenta is for granite. do same thing same design, but plus 3k worrrr. However rowenta mentioned they use plywood and some anti-cockroach thingy ..which is the better wood right?

so far which one more affordable after comparison do share! biggrin.gif

adele,
not sure what sort of kitchen cabinets you are looking for.
i did mine approx 5 years ago. am very satisfied with it.
pricing wise, after i compared, this is one of the cheaper ones but i am okay with it so far.
no major problem and the soft close drawer still as good as new.
my surface is LG Hi-Mac (not really pure white but can't see from the pics). it got some quartz in it.
the installer installed the oven, the sink and plumbing and also lighting for me too.
i remember it being quite reasonable charges.
design wise, the whole module was designed by myself so it's just selection of materials.
PM me if you want the kitchen contractor name.
cheers!

paiseh ah, show me ugly kitchen here.
