I'm the Old Pain in the Head smile.gif

Sorry for Bugging you, But I may Go Buy The LapTop Tonight,,

When I went 2 the Shop Yesterday, I found out that 3830TG is 4 the same price, same specs, Lighter Weight , Higher Battery Life

Higher Temp. Rising,, No Optical Drive

(Source : NoteBookCheck)

I'm Study Computer Engineering,,
Can do Little Gaming Though ^^

Do you recommend 3830TG 4 me? smile.gif
(My Main Reasons for dumping my current laptop were (BatteryLife & WEIGHT) it weighs about 3KG biggrin.gif )

Please Advice smile.gif

The 3830TG has lower CPU, Core i3...

The most problem with current TimelineX is their throttling problem and the battery wear level..
If you can deal with it, then proceed..

well..i'd personally recommend 4830tg bbecoz of da heat issue thing. 3830 is much more cramped. and also, u can do wat im planning to do w my 4830tg, im going to isntall a HDD caddy so dat, i can use an SSD and HDD at the same time. two drives smile.gif

@notrox : I think I'm gonna go 4 the 4830TG smile.gif

I'm Still Sad though biggrin.gif Cause the 3830 lasts >12hr Idle and >7:30 hrs Working sad.gif

the other is 7 Idle 6:30 Working ,, But maybe 3830TG's Battery Wears off faster bcoz of Heat Thing smile.gif

U're so Helpful Guyz , BIG Thanks smile.gif

lee,,, srsly u're gonna make me cry :'(

I'm Buying this laptop for Its Battery, and I saw Positive Reviews from Owners here,, Have u heard Something Bad bout the battery? sad.gif

Added on August 17, 2011, 6:45 pm@remonx : Thanks Bro,, I think that'd not be a problem,
The 'Acer' Guy told me the Service Center Can Change it If it Goes off,

For Reasonable Amount of money (If Out of Warranty)

I don't Fully Trust him though biggrin.gif,, we're in Egypt biggrin.gif ,, we don't have the "Customer Service" Culture yet biggrin.gif

The thing is 3830TG and 4830TG has the same battery and their spec is almost the same except an optical drive and 0.7'' extra screen, the battery life difference won't be that huge...
