Let me help a bit ...

No regrets here, totally thankful that my N8 was there to survive with me during my 1 month Europe backpacking
Photos taken definitely would not lose to digicam, in fact it was so handy since my phone was off9 all the time and battery saving mode that I manage to outlast digicams
I had 2 friends whose digicam broke down unable to bear the stress.. Nikon and Olympus samo

I got it as well, downloading it now via NSU. Ovi suite didn't show anything.

Found it:

025.007 only contains some error fixes and is therefore not a mandatory update for N8/C7/C6-01/E7/E6/X7. This means, that not all countries/operators will test and approve this version. The rollout is happening in waves, depending on lcoal testing and approval. If you want to get a notification when the update is available for your phone, please switch on the software update auto check. (You can find it under Options in your phone’s Software Update App.)

My software version is still 022.014. Custom version 022.014.262.03.
How come everyone got 025? I didn't install anna update 2/2 that brings communicator app, maybe that's why?
