how much is amcorp charging for solo(training) playing?

RM7.50 for solo training...if you're lucky you maybe able to catch JH there to give you some pointers...

I had a few regulars there today giving me pointers...

Hi brother, i still have my 1 pc custom made maple, i keep it la, i got few more cues.

this one new custom made JH help me to get it under special arrangement. need to fully test it, haven got time, got it yesterday night. hehe

will use the new custom made from now on.

just now while we were playing ... i c that u have very good basics .. all u need is to do more practice and watch more snooker games o.k ? especially now u r using a new cue .. u just need to know and get use to the new cue more ..

u told me u haven't made a century before right ? but what i c is .. a little more of hard work . im sure u can make it soon ... trust me !!( i don say this to everyone wan )

how i wish there is somebody to comment on how i play... i wanna improve but playing yourself and not knowing where you are wrong isnt gonna do much help...

hey young man . no worries .... whenever u r free .. come c me .. i will give u some tips . ok ?? most important is u really love the game and really have the heart to learn and improve ..

yeah how i wish i am on the other side of the country...sadly i am not i am from kuching... and theres only a few nice snookeriums.. No coaching programs or whatsoever....everybody just plays their own game..what i do is just find my friend that can play pretty well and let him kick my ass while i pay for the game... what i get in return is to see him play and study his game. :)but everytime i go out with him i pay like 95% of the games... so it will be rm60-70 each time i go out...

omin budget cues

hi snooker lovers ,

Recently i've been looking through this forum .. and i find that lots of u r looking for cues below rm 300 . and most of u r using or looking for those china cues which is what i think is not worth it ..

actually i havent been selling these lower range cue for sometime d... hee hee !!

so last week when i was at Omin factory , i tot of u guys . so what i did was i orders some o'mellenium omin machine made cues for u guys to grab . 15 units only . one piece and quarter joint . i personally choose the woods for it .

the diffrence between champion cue and this o'mellenium is the butt material. champion is using ebony(brown-black) for the butt . and the mellenium cues is using rose wood . ( red- brown )

the price(depending on dhl and tax) is going about rm 280 with a mini butt screw hole behind . but it doesn't come with the mini butt o.k ?
but u can still always buy the 5" mini butt or even the 9" extendable alluminium extension's from me with a good price ok ?

the cues will only arrive on maybe end of july .

my actual intention here is to push the snooker standards in Malaysia higher . i guess this is one way of helping for letting beginners to use a reasonable good quality cue to play and learn . the other way is to guide them on how to improve and practice .

here is something i want to share with u guys ..

SangSom 6 red balls invitational pro-am tournament ..

starting on the 8th - 15th july in bangkok , thailand

around 20 professionals from the main tour is playing .. jimmy white , mark selby , ken doherty and .......

and all the asian top selected players are also competeting for the THB500,000 1st prize (total prize money is 1.8million thb)

the acbs president (mr.sindhu) of thailand is trying to push this new format of 6 red balls snooker to fight with the 9 ball pool .
so next year there will be a 6 red balls asian tour like the guiness 9 ball tour . but i guess is only about 4 stops only.

what he is trying to do is to make snooker look more interesting .... faster and easier ... which i think is good too !

i might be going to bangkok to meet up with the professionals .. too bad stephen hendry is not coming .. i actually know him quite well . hee hee !

tell u what u can do .. ask some handicap points from him (play for a fair game).. try to give him some good fight first.. of course when u start to win him with the handicaps . reduce the handicap a little and fight again .. slowly u'll improve . that's how i improve when i was a beginner.

i use to play with a friend ricky yeoh last time . he was one of malaysia top 16 that time . he use to handicap me 55pts , but still i always lose to him . (water fish) but i tell myself , im going to beat him one day .. then i practice 8-10 hours a day . then slowly i start to beat him with the 55 pts . then i ask to reduce the handicap . so started with 45 pts .. 40pts , 30 pts and until a year later with all my hard practice . i mange to beat him on level pts . today i guess i can even give him 15-20pts . haha !

one more good tip, before u play with him . go to the snooker centre 1 hour earlier to solo for an hour 1st . get warm up and practice some potting first .. then when he comes .. play straight away ... ha ha !

hope u understand what im saying ok ? coz my english is not that good .. so i scare u don understand ha ! ha!

haha... jhleong thanks for the advice... problem is, the mentality here is that if you wanna play table(loser pay) then you must not ask for handicap. If not when you win them they will say that its not a fair game. yes, i usually go about 20mins earlier than him to warm up and get going once he arrives... they use to have like a coaching program by the government last year but it died after a few months btw i am a form 4 student only so i dont have much pocket money to always solo... i save enough money then only invite my friend out...and then my money all gone then have to save again when you come kuching do let me know

i have been palying for quite some time but now not much kaki
sorry can just let me know where is arena , maybe got time go to see jh the cues i am also interested can u just pm me when its here , my old cue a bit out already long time no play

( www.originalomin.com ) come and i can intro some of my young players and students to play with u . ok ? bring ur old cue and c if i can touch up or not la ... if its a reasonable good cue , then don have to waste money to buy new wan ...

Guys, I need help. I'll be heading to Bangkok most probably in July. Would really love to get hold of the address of O'min's factory so I can pay a visit to get a cue custom made to my specs. Finally had a chance to test out Imagine cue, and it wasn't really suited to me.

I've tried everywhere to get the address of the factory but have found no luck. If any of u have any details and tell me if its possible to visit the factory straight up, it would be of great help.
