gave me a fright that i might need a new phone later today. So it's normal for Talon kernel? But why does the 100% battery indicator is there even it's not charging/not full?
Talon tried to fix the battery drain at night by doing a two-step feature:
1. Fix the battery indicator so that it displays the actual battery rather than lying to the user, then when you unplug, you get a bad battery drain
2. Make the charger recharge your phone after battery drops to a certain percentage.
No 2 is still not implemented yet, probably in the future. Your phone was awake the whole night (probably using high frequency with Wifi but no display). It'll probably eat a lot of battery that way. It's the equivalent of tethering. You can use the screenstate scaling script to use the Conservative governor to reduce the battery drain, though if you are doing something with your phone, battery will drain no matter if its unplugged from the charger or plugged until the battery is full.

yup.. and oledi check inside SU apps, terminal emulator was in list..

after reboot phone also.. same thing..
"free : not found"
might got some script that i dont have?
free is a binary file in system/xbin. Check for that file. If you don't have that file, you probably have a bad flash. Try flashing through CWM. You're using Talon right? SGS Kernel Flasher sometimes don't work well.

Thanks but i can't find the files in the mentioned directory

If you can't find it, that means its not installed. Try installing from beta.swype.com and see if it works?

Charged using the adapter (leaving it to charge without doing anything). Still the same. Charging stops once the battery 100% icon appears but battery is around 97%

97% is your real battery indicator (probably from battery wear and tear). You can bump charge it to 100% i.e. remove and plug again. You'll get 100%, but it's not good for your battery and Samsung limits this to protect your battery i.e. to prevent overcharge.
