Hello, i wanna ask, does SGS2 in malaysia have NFC capabilities support?
juz read from some article sayin that not all SGS2 device have nfc...

i was downloading sygic aura with malaysia singapore map - around 313 mb of map - surprised me when the download speed averaged 200KB/s and at one point, 415KB/s - that's really fast!!!!!!!!

any1 tried to stream badminton game on the phone?? lol

It's my phone again.just now, all of sudden the whole screen turn greenish while surfing the net (dolphin HD).immediately I exit from dolphin but the whole screen still greenish (still can read and all but all look green transparency look), a bit like  old monochrome screen.then screen captured it (in order to show to sme technician and share in this forum).the greenish screen gone after I put it i. Sleep mode and wake it up again.all normal again.

I dig back captured screen and guess what, it look normal like it should.this is second time it happen.can't help to think whether this is h/w defect or rom related issue or apps.can anyone identify which one?oh...I'm on litening 5.0 and ninpo 2.0.5.

P/s: should I name it 'Hulk Sympton

I've used it for three times. Because i only insert it to flash my phone which is 3 times only. Like usual. Insert the jig in usb port in the phone. and wait for it to go into download mode automatically.

OR just use Chainfire3D's nightmode "custom color" option - you can tune your colour balance too.

But seriously people, elitist or not, we need a serious "modding talk" thread set up for the SGS2. I can barely find any new interesting info in this spoonfeed circus any more. I knew that things can sound harsh over here sometimes, bit this is ridiculous - it sounds like an iPon thread now (no offence).

btw anyone noticed that the sms can mostly send to 10 contacts once?

I had my phone flash to the CF-Root (KF3). When I tried to make a backup on ROM Manager, the infamous "E: failed to verify whole-file signature" happen on me. After searching a while for answer, I find most of the people who encounter this are trying to flash to a custom ROM. For my case I just want to make a backup of the stock ROM. What's the possible reason for causing this?

i think if u were using a a non android phone b4 this then u cannot import the contact out i think. I was using Nokia b4 this and I could not access all my contact in the sim card when I switched over to Galaxy s2

Now using batista 3.5 and quite amaze with the difference compare with litening rom.anyone that plan not to wipe their data, batista is one of the rom to be flash.but remember to backup using tb first as out uninstall bunch of stuff include polaris office.lucky I made backup

i was using SE non smart phone.. and there is no contact when i put in my old sim.. i have to try to find my friends through fb and msn to ask for their contacts..

hmm where do i find that function? i tried searching through settings and there was nothing about simcards in there..

same story. when i tried to import it said sim card empty.

i tried this rom last few days, but the battery drained due the maps running in background even after signed out the latitude which didnt happen in my Litening. so flashed back to litening 3.2.

now trying cognition 1.40

it will wipe for you.....but better to wipe as i believe you will get into bootloop..

I'm going to stick with it a while longer until I find something that really pulling my hair off.

Had the worst nite yesterday...after reading all d tutorials on d 1st page n xda for nearly 3 weeks..decided to flash to other rom from stock rom..1st i flash to litening rom 5.0....everything went well....blue effect looks nice...den withing 2o minute,i flash to villain rom 2.4.2......villain rom layout looks excatly like stock rom...so i take puas hati(my fault)....den i decided to flash to cyanogen mod pulak within 10 minutes.....danggggggggg...my heart beat stop at tat moment...d moment i flash into cyanogen mod....phone doesnt wanna reboot n stayed on the yellow triangle...i waited  quite long n it doesnt seem to restart or anythin..i off d phone n on back..still d page remains at the yellow triangle..cant even enter into recovery mode.damn....i tot i bricked my phone..after praving so badly,i took out my battery...wait few second..put back inside...n try into recovery mode..nothin happen...my heart pumping like crazy.....den i remove my battery again.....did d recovery method again....goshhhh..it manage to get into recovery mode.i wipe my data,factory rest,n also wipe cache..tried to apply villain rom from my sd card...n reboot it..after reboot it still remain on yellow triangle..god knows how much i freaked.....den i tried d process all over again....tried flash again villain rom....finalllyyyy...i got back my phone as normal...my god.....i never touch my phone after tat !!!....wat a good experience 4 me........if u dunno,better dun do.....

wat thing u put into ur phone? if before u put those in the phone can work out of the box without any issue, then surely the things u put in got problem d

i actually did compare with my frens phone..he has d same apps as me n even much more, with same widgets on home screen..i only have pulse widget, calendar n a few shorcut keys on my home screen... i compared by pressing the back button to exit contacts from my phone n friends phone simultaneously, his exit was instant but mine took about 2 seconds... haih..

it will only resulting more n more ants to come. last time my N97 seems like a nest for the ants, always can c ants crawling out from speaker or the usb port or even the mp3 plug. probably dat's the reason for my N97's conductor to fry
