QUOTE(jaston @ Aug 19 2011, 11:28 AM) I am choosing between the htc sensation and the samsung galaxy s 2. Can anyone help me out? I have used an htc before and I love the the interface of it. I have tried the first samsung galaxy s and there was nothing special to note about it. The main difference here would be the display and the out of the box support to hdmi. Are there any other significant differences. I have seen the benchmark results of it and the gap is not that big anyway. yaa the gap very small oni, benchmarks mean nothing! sensation is definitely the best, we of the sgs2 thread and owner sure recommend sensation wan anyways as long as u dun get the fruit

QUOTE(Slekerz @ Aug 19 2011, 11:33 PM) MIUI 1.8.12 beta51 default kernel Battery consumption for 11 hour 50m, display lowest setting, browser around 30m, i will said ok because before this only last for 8h to 9h after that will drain out completely. Battery remaining around 30%. your phone can do alot better if u find out what is causing the wakelocks and fix it

QUOTE(chicken12345 @ Aug 19 2011, 11:51 PM) the built in samsung app allshare allows u to view certain media files. ES file explorer also allows you to view/copy/paste etc. shared local area network files and online files. There's alot other file managers out there that can do this, try and see which you like.

QUOTE(zsnipes @ Aug 20 2011, 02:53 AM) Now I'm using Nokia E72. Typing physically (QWERTY) is nice & fast. I'm interested to get a new phone & Touchscreen (1st time experience). I typing a lot, does it good to change to Touchscreen typing using SGS2 ? yes and no, you might get used to it after some time but errors are common, it also depends on the keyboard software you use some are accurate, some has good suggestions, buttons that are sized properly to ur thumb size etc,, also the input method swype or normal, swype maybe fast but might not be accurate
