which phone is the cheapest...
among the brand SE/Samsung/LG?
and the most worth-to-get low-end android phone?
Beside Galaxy Mini?
Budget, less than Rm500, official price.
*
Among those brands, no. If u don't mind the brands, go for CSL mi-310

QUOTE(wkkm007 @ Aug 28 2011, 12:18 AM)
Any cheapest android phone 2nd hand also can so I want to use it as an Mifi router. CSL, Samsung, SE X10 mini/pro(need flash custom rom). I feel a Mifi router without telco plan almost same price to a budget android phone with huge different in term of feature thumbup.gif With 2 hp so I no need swap my current Sim card with the Sim with U68 BB.
*

Csl mi-310

im thinking of upgrading my father's old Nokia 5800 to an Android

criteria:
-no brand preference
-simple/basic function for an old man
-3.5" screen and below(he likes youtube)
-has fm radio
-good speakers
-can be either resistive or capacitive
-budget rm 1200 max
-already have a 16gb microsd from old phone
-130g and below

thinking of galaxy ace, need other alternative
also need a way to transfer all contacts/sms from Nokia 5800 to new android phone

A HTC Desire S should be a better choice than the Huawei X5. Since its within your budget.

Not significantly. Some have claimed that their battery can last 4 days after flashing the kernal and firmware but IMO its bullcrap. If a 1.2k mah battery could last that long what more a 1500mah battery that is standard in smartphones nowadays?
