I did crap at the test. Thankfully they were multiple choice questions. I couldn't remember a lot of them.  tongue.gif

But I think I did pretty well in the individual interview and group discussion.

There are no test for foundation applicants, so if you applied foundation there's no need to worry. If you are an undergrad applicant, the test has 60 questions, multiple choices, and you will have 2 hours to complete them. It's divided into 3 subjects, Chemistry, Physics and Maths, 20 questions each. For those who are fresh SPM leavers you might not have a problem. I haven't studied chemistry in 4 years, and my maths and physics have become rusty as well. Thankfully I do remember fragments of them and I can deduce the answers from the choices.

The subject of the discussion is different for each batch so there's no point in telling you mine. It's about current issues, such as mass media, addictions, etc. etc.

I thought the page was getting irrelevant and degrading. I think the admins have to clean up the page if they want to keep it.

Congratz too all jan 2013 intake. Don't worry guys, life in utp it's not hard as you guys expected.

For foundation, all you have to get ready is how you can tackle by submitting assignment, call lab and etc in a very short time. That's all about and don't shy to ask lecturer because lecturer like student to ask them so if they recognize you, maybe if your test mark is almost A like that, maybe he/she could help you because he/she can see your efforts asking question.

Bear in mind, foundation is not hard ok,just don't be lazy,if you got assignmen do it quickly because 4 month for 1 semester is not long, too short...

Better you busy in the starting of semester rather than busy on the last minute + finals is around corner...

chill la bro.the result isnt out yet.hopefully all those who came for the educamp get a place in utp.chin up aite.think on the bright side.out of all the applicants 2 days ago, there's only 90+ undergraduate applicants.the rest is foundation applicants.don't know how many udergrad applicants from sarawak n sabah.plus, there's also applicants that are already studying in other uni.maybe if they were offered a diff course then they asked for, they would change their mind?it doesn't really matter la.i also can't do most of the chemistry quest.we were give 20 minutes to answer 20 chemistry questions.i dont think anyone can get a prefect score on that.some more the questions were tricky.seriously?haha.the girls that was there during the educamp 2 days ago are just average to me.maybe a few of them above average but then who cares?if you really want to see hot girls all the time while studying,go for sunway/lim kok wing or segi.believe me,you dont even want to blink later on.haha

You can bring your stuff during registration day. They will give out rooms when you register.

The orientation week is kinda fun if you are the type who want to make new friends quickly. But I skip mine though tongue.gif

Bring your own.

The room that will be given only has the basic furnitures - bed, study table, chair and cupboard.

Bring your own pillow too
