From my own experience (was a candidate myself before I revoke my offer), u'll be interviewed in their office in KLCC during weekend... u can take a direct flight to KL, u don't have to apply for visa prior ur visit, u'll be granted with a visiting visa for 21 days at the airport if I'm not mistaken (well, call Malaysian's embassy first).  But I don't think they can interview u at Malaysian's embassy... u can always call them tho'

nope, international students will be interviewed in their office in KLCC during the weekend... educamp come afterwards, in fact, it's ur orientation week. 

p.s. during the interview, they'll test ur english proficiency (unless u have IELTS/TOFEL with passing result) and maths.  yes, math!!  but don't worry, it's just basic math... u don't even need a calculator (u'll be asked about basic fundamentals, i.e.  tan = sin/cos).  this's as of september in take 2011.

I think what he meant is that MAS come afterwards. MAS is the orientation week. Educamp is the interview session plus a bit of fun.

So I believe you don't have to educamp after your interview, but if you're accepted in, you'll need to go MAS, or the orientation week.

Whether you are accepted or not, for local students, they can check in the web tool, however I am unsure for international students. You may clarify with them when you do your interview.

Science questions, not sure. As far as my memory goes, no. But I could be wrong for 2 reasons.

1. My memory is wrong and I am getting old.
2. They did changed the format. After all it was years back lol.

Language & Communication Unit

The Language Unit offers English language courses at the Foundation and Undergraduate levels. These courses comprise of proficiency as well as English for Academic Purpose courses. There are currently 14 lecturers attached to the unit. In addition, the unit also offers Intensive English courses for International students intending to pursue Foundation and Undergraduate courses in UTP. Besides English courses, the Language unit also offers Arabic, Mandarin and French courses as electives.

im sorry but i dont think there's any.. ill try to dig some clubs.. some of them are underground you know    if got some kind of japanese club ill tell you

there's alot.. some of them are not directly under utp so basically they are underground due to small number of members and financial stuff. But as of now, nothing are even near to japanese. there's one student though giving an idea of an anime club    but still surveying. yes of course.. provided that u dont exceed the credit limit. here, try to plan your study using this guide here

Congratz too all jan 2013 intake. Don't worry guys,life in utp it's not hard as you guys expected.

For foundation,all you have to get ready is how you can tackle by submitting assignment,call lab and etc in a very short time. That's all about and don't shy to ask lecturer because lecturer like student to ask them so if they recognize you,maybe if your test mark is almost A like that,maybe he/she could help you because he/she can see your efforts asking question.
Bear in mind,foundation is not hard ok,just don't be lazy,if you got assignmen do it quickly because 4 month for 1 semester is not long,too short...

Better you busy in the starting of semester rather than busy on the last minute + finals is around corner...

You can bring your stuff during registration day. They will give out rooms when you register.

The orientation week is kinda fun if you are the type who want to make new friends quickly. But I skip mine though

Just some breaking ice and singing UTP and PETRONAS anthem

The activities are just for fun but there are some briefings that are related to academics (ex: how to read your timetable, how to choose tutorial and lab slot etc etc)

The facilitators will guide you through common students' life. Nothing heavy 

You will be introduced to many clubs during MAS.

You can register for your preferred clubs during MMK (Minggu Mesra Kampus)
