Well, Activision is kinda riding on Blizzard's name due to the "Activision Blizzard" merger, I think it's also one of the reason Activision won't push Blizzard.

D3 has one distinct advantage to be hyped even higher too: the ridiculous long span between announcement of game and the release date, makes ppl more nervous

you don't really need a spec too high for the game, it's developing with not so high end hardwares

Managed to finish the Book of Cain and it provides a lot of information on the lore. Will spend some time on the 3 novels next to kill time before the release.
