There's a calisthenics thread! Awesome! Btw don't do 100% calisthenics. I also do military press, deadlift and barbell squats once in a while, and i do parkour smile.gif

Training boards for rock climbing. The 'rock rings' looks interesting!
http://www.metoliusclimbing.com/training_devices.html

BTW, Body Express Fitness Club in Subang is on GroupOn.
I saw the photos that it has lots of gymnastic rings! RM39 for 1 month trial. Calistenic guys looking for a gym should go have a look. I bought the voucher, will check it out if it's worth it to join long term. =D

Where can I buy gymnastics rings in Malaysia? Preferably easily adjustable ones, so can be used high for pull ups and muscle ups, as well as low, as an ab wheel or unstable push ups.

Sorry if it has been stated before(I did try to go through the whole thread but my crappy laptop can't load most of the pages that has a lot of videos). sad.gif

Ps- Reading about the climbing boards and devices reminded me of this:

its hard to do it because you're not used to doing it yet. having the strength to do so does not mean you can do it. takes time and practice, like everything else.

ts or whoever mind to explain me quote below...why and wat it mean cut your range of motion here?

"Now we go to pull/chin up. The rule is to not do the overly wide pull/chin up because quite the contrary, doing this cut your range of motion. "

thanks

I'll just give an example its easier to understand.

Let's say u do a pull up where ur arms are slightly wider than shoulder wide, the distance from the bottom of ur pull up to the top of ur pull up ( position where ur chin is above the bar ) is 50cm (for example). But if u do a wider pull up (arms further apart), u will travel less than 50 cm from bottom to top means lesser range of motion.

Personally i mix my grip width and i do other variations such as typewriter, around the world etc... biggrin.gif
