the phone only get hot when using GPS for so long time, mine overclock to 1.4Ghz but didn't feel hot cause I use back hard case, well maybe overclocked to 2Ghz will get hooot enough  tongue.gif
the solution so far for mine when the screen can detect the touch is to lock the screen and turn it on back, than it will be fine even it hot

with the axis problem is still no way to fix the problem, *well correct me if I were wrong, if someone here know how to fix it, cause I think it the hardware problem*
*
Oh, long time as in 3/4 hours?

Btw, how's is the battery life? and i heard that the radio isn't functioning?

well, actually kinda like 10 minute use,
for the radio that not function is only for MIUI rom and CM7 I guess, both still not stable right now, need a lot development, kindly read before the pro and con before flashing, as for me still use stock ROM but overclocked, pretty stable and fast,
the battery is the same cause I use Data plan always, so can't say much about it, about everyday need to charge

Wow, 10mins only... but after you lock screen and unlock it, will it reoccur again?

okay my device died on me yesterday. just left it there while I used the com and I thought it was out of battery when I came back cuz it wouldn on when I hold the power button.

did a battery pull and it was alive again. but anyone know why it happened?

EDIT

also guys, may I ask what method would you recommend to backup the data of a stock CSL rom device without rooting? Cuz I'm just flashing to WellCom.. wanna test the stability of my uncle's device, if stable then I won't root n flash RC2

I also faced the same problem. I used the phone for 1-2 months without problem but lately it seems to hang or reboot itself frequently. Yesterday, I tried to switch the power button but it couldn't switch on but there is a red light at the top of the phone. The battery power was still 3/4 full when it happens. After 1-2 hours the red light goes off by itself and I can switch on the phone again.

The phone was still original without flashing or anything done to it. Should I bring back the phone to CSL (still under warranty) or do you guys recommend to flash the rom to WellCom or any other? Where to get the most stable version to flash?

I got less reboots on Wellcom, even lesser reboots on RC2. I would suggest backing up all your data first.

Then consider flashing to Wellcom as that does not require rooting. Then if it still sucks.. it's up to you if you wanna root and flash to RC2.. The latest versions are all on the first post of this thread biggrin.gif cheers

You guys really need to do more homework on what 'root' and 'flashing ROM' means.

depend on the ROM, if from file type .nb0 no need to root, if the file from format .zip, need to root and install CWM 1st

I got the Singapore version, the huawei ideos x6 yesterday. didn't encounter any problems such as frozen screen/buttons when phone gets heated up or rebooted so far. the multi-touch seems ok also, can play pes 2011 and samurai vengeance 2 with not much problems. smile.gif

Hello guys, am I able to use Huawei X6's silicon case with this phone? Is the cutting for the on/off switch and camera hole the same?

Some people are just plain ignorant. There is no need for root to flash ROM. You can flash to any ROM you like, root or unrooted. If you want to install RC2 you need to install RC1 first then replace stock recovery to CMW and flash RC2 in CMW. Details in first page

the one I planned to do bulk purchase is silicone shock absorbent casing, RM25 only (zero profit)

whereas those some of you brought into topic are back covers, right? which offers no protection to the front, edges etc, and can easily fall off and crack during a drop, I know, because I already broke mine doh.gif lol
